TRAINING DESCRIPTION
Offshore pipelines play very significant roles in transporting oil and gas, or slurry from the exploitation fields to processing plants and
down to the customers. Indonesia, has literally thousands km of subsea pipelines and, in the next decades, the lines will even be longer
due to constant increasing demand, not only for domestic need but also for export, especially due to South East Asian gas growing
market. To cope with this challenge, sub sea pipeline engineering has to gradually be mastered. That’s means various engineering and
technological aspects have to be understood in order to built, operate, and maintain the line safely and profitably.
