Summary

Tourism is an important sector with respect to India , it contributed 6.6 percent to India’s GDPS.
In particular, the government was planning about marketing of tourism and building in tourism
industry, the overall growth of economy depends on recognizing the contribution of tourism sector
to the overall growth of the country. The main factor about the tourism industry is that, there is a
seasonal pattern. Domestic tourism has been booming in India and there was a growth of 13.4
percent.
Adventure tourism had high levels of engagement for the employees and advantages of being
close to nature. The company even though other firms seldom had an such activities of
engagement had a lot of employee engagement activities.

Let us take a look at some of the challenges faced

Growing technological expertise of local players in the export market.

It is more costly for Treks `n Rapids: Adventure Sports Tourism in India to serve the rural
customers than urban customers given the vast distances and lack of infrastructure.

in higher profit margins.
