According to the Japan, Skin whitening, also known as lightening, brightening,
depigments, and bleaching is the use of substances, moisture, or physical treatments to lighten skin
colour. Skin whitening treatment works by reducing the skin’s melanin content. Many agents have
been shown to be effective in skin whitening. Some agents have beneficial side effects, including
supplying antioxidants or nutrients or reducing the risk of some types of cancer. Other agents are
a significant risk to health, such as mercury-based methods. May woman, regarding of age or
ethnicity want ever, clear, and radiant skin. For most woman, the challenge to achieve radiant skin
begins with dark spots or hyperpigmentation caused by the accumulation of the melanin.

skin tone. For Caucasian woman of European or Asian descent, blotchiness and spots caused by

E. Definition of Terms

Kojik - is made from several different types of fungi. It’s also a by-product when certain foods
ferment, including Japanese sae, soy sauce, and rice wine. Kojic acid inhibits and prevents the
formation of tyrosine, which is an amino acid that’s needed to produce melanin. Melanin is the
pigment that affects hair, skin, and eye colour. Because it inhibits the productions of melanin,
kojic acid can have a lightening effect. Sometimes used in the food industry as a natural
preservative. One of the main used of kojic soap, however, is in some health and cosmetic
products. Used in health and beauty products to lighten the skin. It may be used to treat skin
conditions, such as sun damage, scars, and age spots. Works by blocking tyrosine from forming,
which then prevents melanin productions. Decreased melanin production may have a lightening
effect on the skin.

Baking soda –also known as bicarbonate. Bath is often recommended to soothe itchy skin. These
baths are especially effective at soothing itches from bug bites and bee stings. Additionally,
baking soda may help soothe itchy from sunburns. It seems more effective when combined with
other ingredients like corn starch and oatmeal. To make a baking soda bath, add 1-2 cups of
baking soda to a lukewarm bath. Make sure the affected area is soaked thoroughly. For more
specific areas, you can create a paste with baking soda and bit of water. Apply a thick layer of
paste to the affected area. These are the reasons to flawless the skin face of a person. For insect’s
bites, make a paste out of baking soda and water, and apply as a salve onto affected skin. To ease
the itch, sake some baking soda into your hand and rub it into damp skin after bath or shower

Calamansi –also known as calamondin, is an economically-important citrus hybrid

predominantly cultivated in the Philippines. It is native to the Philippines and surrounding areas
in southern China, Taiwan, Borneo, and Sulawesi. Calamondi is ubiquitous in traditional Filipino
cuisine. It is used in various condiments, beverages, dishes, marinades, and preserves. Calamondi
is also used as ingredients in the cuisines of Malaysia and Indonesia. Calamondi is a
citrufortunella, an intergeneric hybrid between a member of the genus citrus and the kumquat. It
was formerly considered as belonging to a separate genus fortunella.
