Checklist regarding completion reports of 66 KV Underground Cables.

8 EMF Zone sketch/drawing for the cable laid with signature of
concerned JE,SDO and ASE
9 Copy of “As Built” Drawing of cable Laid with signature of
concerned JE,SDO and ASE (Mention Drum no. and length of cable
of each section, tie points, route marker, HDD Laying/ Length,
Jointing bay marking along the cable route on the “As Built
Drawing”).
10 Joint Survey report of site.
11 Detail of payments made against the work to firm
12 Routine test results for entire cable i.e. each drum length
13 Onsite/after laying test results :-
(i) Insulation resistance of each cable drum length after laying and
before jointing serving insulation resistance after laying each cable
length shall withstand a voltage of 10 KV DC between each re-
inforcement and external conducting surface and for one minute. In
addition the serving insulation resistance shall be measured and
checked with values obtained in the routine factory test.
(ii) On completion of the cable laying and jointing work the complete
installation shall be tested with a DC DC Voltage of 10 Kv applied for
3 Minutes between each conductor and sheath. The DC test shall
be carried at site if not carried out as acceptance test.
(iii) Conductor resistance of each cable of each complete circuit.
(iv) AC Power frequency rated voltage no load for 24 hours before
putting the cable on load.
