Reasons for Training and Development of Employees by an Organization.

Beardwell and Holden (1998) gave the following reasons, as regards.

1. That new employees are in some respect like other raw [basic]
materials; they have to be processed to become able to perform the tasks
of their jobs adequately and to fit into their work-group and into the
organization as a whole.

2. That new jobs and tasks may be introduced into the organization and
be filled by existing employees who need redirection.

3. That people themselves change – their interest, their skills, their

confidence and aspirations, their circumstances.

4. Some employees may move job within the organization on promotion

or to widen their experience and so need further [additional] training.

5. The organization itself or its context may change or be changed over

time, so that [with the purpose of] employees have to be undated
[innovative] in their ways of working together.

6. The organization may wish to be ready for some future change and
require some employees to develop transferable skills.

7. Management requires training and development. This will involve

initial training for new managers, further [additional] development and
training for managers, management succession and the development of
potential managers.

Leadership of 100 and 5 Stars -- 09 -- Ed. 2.0

From the above reasons given by Beardwell and Holden (1998), it is therefore
[consequently] obvious that training and development are inevitable for
organizations that are very serious about winning the competition or at least
being the leader in the industry.

the whole is like [similar]. There are two main types of sampling
[selection] procedure, random [arbitrary] and non-random.

9. Scientific method - The foundation of modern scientific enquiry

[investigation]. It is based on observation and testing of the soundness
[completeness] of conclusions commonly by using the hypothetico -
deductive method. The four-step method is: (1) identification of a
problem, (2) formulation of a hypothesis, (3) practical [concrete] or

The trend [tendency] of mathematics and physics towards unification provides

the physicist with a powerful new method of research into the foundations of
his subject. … The method is to begin by choosing that branch [subdivision] of

be influenced very much in this choice by considerations of mathematical
beauty. It would probably be a good thing also to give a preference to those
branches of mathematics that have an interesting group of transformations
underlying them, since transformations play an important role in modern
physical theory, both relativity and quantum theory seeming to show that
transformations - [‘mathematics?’] - are of more fundamental importance than
equations.

1. Adaptive leadership aims to determine which public activities to

How Are You Different and Better? - Brian Tracy

«100 and 5 Stars, and the eminent Brian Tracy, a live history».
M.C. Enrique Ruiz Díaz

What is your area of differentiation? This is the key to success in business. What
is it that you offer to your customers that none of your competitors can offer?
What is it that your business does for your customers that makes you special in
some way? The rule is: If you don’t have competitive advantage, don’t compete.

One of your greatest responsibilities is to either determine or develop your area

of differentiation, your competitive advantage, and then focus all of your
marketing and sales efforts in that area.

What is it that you, and only you, can do for your customers that no other
company can offer? What is your ‘‘unique selling proposition?’’

Each company has to have an area of excellence. What is yours? This is

something in which you excel [do extremely well] and that is important and
valuable to your customers.

Every individual must have one or more areas of excellence as well. What is it
that you do, or could do, better than anyone else in your business? The
development and exploitation of your competitive advantage and your area of
excellence is the key to getting through crunch time. Sometimes, just reverting
[returning] to what it is that you do extremely well for your customers can turn
your situation around [covering].

Study the public behavior of top stars and you can detect a keen [powerful]
attentiveness to brand value.

Enterprise growth [advance] can be defined in quantitative and qualitative

terms. Quantitative growth comprises [includes] the increase of measurable
variables (e.g., turnover [business], profit, employees, etc.). These are prominent
and important target measures from the perspective of enterprise policymakers
(OECD; Ahmad, Seymour 2008). However, because of typical sector-specific
heterogeneity, qualitative criteria will also be important for defining (high-
growth) entrepreneurship and small business (Curran, Blackburn 2001).
Qualitative growth is more difficult to measure. It can be defined as a qualitative
improvement of the input [participation] or output [production] of an
enterprise. Examples are an improvement of the product quality or the quality
of customer relations, the quality of work places created or management
competences as well as sustainability in the enterprise development. -

Four Types of Innovation – The OECD’s Oslo Manual

1. A product innovation - A product innovation is the introduction of a

good or service that is new or significantly improved with respect to its
characteristics or intended [planned] uses. This includes significant
improvements in technical specifications, components and materials,
incorporated software, user friendliness or other functional
characteristics. Product innovations can utilize new knowledge or
technologies, or can be based on new uses or combinations of existing
knowledge or technologies. The term “product” is used to cover both
goods and services. […].

2. A process innovation - A process innovation is the implementation of a

new or significantly improved production or delivery [distribution]
method. This includes significant changes in techniques, equipment
and/or software. Process innovations can be intended [planned] to
decrease unit costs of production or delivery, to increase quality, or to
produce or deliver new or significantly improved products. […].

3. A marketing innovation - A marketing innovation is the implementation

of a new marketing method involving significant changes in product
design or packaging, product placement [location], product promotion or
pricing. Marketing innovations are aimed at better addressing customer
needs, opening up new markets, or newly positioning a firm’s product on
the market, with the objective of increasing the firm’s sales. […].

4. An organizational innovation - An organizational innovation is the

implementation of a new organizational method in the firm’s business
practices, workplace organization or external relations. Organizational
innovations can be intended to increase a firm’s performance by reducing
administrative costs or transaction costs, improving workplace
satisfaction (and thus labor productivity), gaining access to non-tradable
assets (such as non-codified external knowledge) or reducing costs of
supplies. […].

Competencies in Logistics, About.

“A competency is more than just knowledge and skills. It involves the ability to
meet complex demands, by drawing on and mobilizing psychosocial resources
(including skills and attitudes) in a particular context” (Talent 2014, p.1).

Parry (1998) explains that a competency is a combination of experience,

knowledge, personality and skills that impacts on the employees work in terms
of performance.

One of the problems experienced by humanitarian organizations in relation to

competencies and loss [damage] of organizational knowledge is the high
turnover [business] of staff [workforce] (Gammelgaard and Larson 2001,
Thomas and Mizushima 2005), or as Kovacs and Spens (2009 p.522) termed
[named] it: “the brain drain [consume]”. - [‘Consequently’] - Gammelgaard and

Catechism [Religious education]

__ __ __
 FATHER,... this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God,
and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
 God our Savior desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge
of the truth.
 There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we
must be saved - than the name of JESUS.

__ __ __

The Desire for God

The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God
and for God; and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will
he find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for:

The dignity of man rests above all on the fact that he is called to communion
with God. This invitation to converse with God is addressed to man as soon as
he comes into being. For if man exists it is because God has created him through
love, and through love continues to hold him in existence. He cannot live fully
according to truth unless he freely acknowledges [recognizes] that love and
entrusts [trusts] himself to his creator.

La Biblia - Invitación de la sabiduría.

1 La sabiduría se ha hecho una casa, | ha labrado siete columnas*;

5 «Venid a comer de mi pan, | a beber el vino que he mezclado;

6 dejad la inexperiencia y viviréis, | seguid el camino de la inteligencia».

Know the Project: Books of English, from English 1 to 5, for all

the CBTIS of the United Mexican States.

The Students can do the organization as they like it; but

absolutely, the Responses are written by hand, and the Works
are Presented by Groups with a Maximum of 5 persons.

«I formulated a project for the CBTIS (Technological Industrial and of Services Center of
Bachelor Degree) 107 of Tuxtepec, Oaxaca, México consisting in giving to the Library of this
Institution with five volumes of English language, of my authorship. A book for each semester,
from the first English book to fifth English book (according to the plan of studies in this regard
of the CBTIS). At no cost to the Institution, because this is a donation (in the staff, I solve my
expenses of the project with income of my employment as a professor that I would be in this
CBTIS).
One of the major advantages of this project is to solve the need of the student of
spending in books of English language because the books will be at your complete disposal into
the student community in the Library of the institution.
Afterward, in an immediate subsequent phase of this project is that among the student
community of this CBTIS and all the CBTIS of the United Mexican States will have these 5
volumes of English language by means of a page of Google; read it, neither cost nor restriction
to obtain them.
Well, as a last note, I must say that these books will have the format of 'workbook'.
This, as an intelligent work with foundations and then their respective exercises to resolve, into
a concurrent process». M.C. Enrique Ruiz Díaz.
