SOFREN is looking for a "Engineer Modeling Fire" to support

his development in Belgium. He / She will be attached to(e) to the agency of
Brussels.

Mission :

Attached(e) to a research department specialized in safety, you will

your skills in modeling fire in the framework of nuclear energy projects.
Your activities will focus on the aspects of quantification of risk, including
in the context of the studies of hazards and Quantitative Risk Assessment :

Analysis and quantification of accidental releases in PHAST

(gas/liquid/two-phase, toxic, or flammable)
The Quantification of the risks of gas explosion (FLACS, OPENFOAM)
Modeling fires a jet of water (PHAST)
Modelling fire (FDT's, CFAST, FDS)
Spread of fire / smoke
Smoke
Reaction and fire resistance
Sizing of extinguishing systems

Pro le :

Engineer or Bac+5 with a specialization in control

industrial risks. You have preferably 2 years experience
minimum on a similar position.

You are rigorous, have a good sense of human relations, a spirit

initiative, analysis and synthesis.

Good knowledge in atmospheric dispersion and thermal

The knowledge of the regulation and levels of acceptance of the
risk would be appreciated
Good drafting capacity
Fluent English
