With respect to the given case, it can be observed that the organization Escape to the Wild
has been experiencing increase rate of workforces joining the organization and thereby
compelling the organization to plan new department in order to perform their business
operations effectively as well as provide effective direction and supervision to the workforces
so that the organization is able to meet their set objectives. Further, it can be observed that
this organization has been facing various issues related to human resources and their
functions to be performed and thereby such issues can be resolved by introducing separate
Human Resource department; further, it was also observed that the workforces working with
the association as well as the managers were unsatisfied with the organization policies and
roles provided to them as their concerns were not being heard by the seniors as well as they
complained that most of their time goes in handling the various administration issues rather
than performing their assigned roles which actually can be handled by a separate HR team
within the organization; in addition to these, the managers failed to provide a detailed job
description to the workforces as well as showed inconsistencies in recruitment and selection
process along with improper management in delivering the pay packages to the workforces.
Therefore, it can be observed that with respect to the given organization, it had various issues
and some of them were as follows:

1) Since the organization has been performing to meet the objective of expanding their
growth of operations which would mean that they would need new sets of human
resources and therefore to solve such issue the organization need to establish a
separate department responsible for carrying out an effective selection and
recruitment process thereby meeting the necessities of support system for continuation
of the business operations and some of such approaches would be publishing an
advertisements of vacancies in the media as well as selecting the eligible candidates
and also maintaining the record of the recruitment process along with the referrals and
their respective pay packages.
2) It can also be observed that the finance department of the organization utilizes most of
their time in handling the workforce related problems and thus in order to minimize
such activities the organization need to establish a systematic approach of handling
the workforce issues such as by establishing a contract between the workforces and
the organization as well as systematic approach to provide reward and incentives to
the workforces as well as following the standard HR policies of the organization.
Therefore, such activities would enable the organization to tackle issues concerned
with the human resources and thereby can dismiss certain individuals those were
found to have violated the policies based upon employment laws as well as hire well
skilled professionals from various culture and lifestyle and provide them effective
training to improve their level of commitment towards their activities within the
organization. Further, certain functions such as the management of test processes as
well as evaluating the contracts in addition to initiating audit processes also causes an
impact upon implementing the human resource strategy for the organization and thus
such policies and plans need to be reviewed at least once every three years and to
ensure that the policies were in line with the operations of the organization.
3) Further, it can be also seen that the managers of the organization were facing problem
in handling the job description area as well as performing effective recruitment and
selection process along with maintaining an effective approach of pay and reward for
the desired workforces and thereby in order to solve such issues the organization need
to adopt a proper job design as well as analyze them effectively to perform their
respective activities under standard set of terms and conditions. Further, adopting
such activities it would enable the organization to improve their relationship with their
workforces as well as establish a suitable and positive pay packages for them so that
they remain motivated to accept any challenges given to them within the organization
and thereby the fear of job dissatisfaction can be eliminated. Moreover, some of the
functions that need to be adopted for meeting such objectives would be that of
conducting well planned and interactive interview rounds for the candidates in terms
of recruiting them whereby the candidates would be provided with detail knowledge
about the job they would need to perform and also establish various new job activities
for workforces thereby providing them opportunities to grow their career within the
organization.
4) Training and development programs need to be conducted by the organization in
terms of encouraging the managers to retain the well skilled workforces and thus the
training programs need to be well planned that would focus on meeting the objectives
of training for the organization and some of the activities to meet such objectives
would be that of conducting training programs at work place as well as offering them
online training facilities in addition to providing the managers to create a suitable
training programs which would reflect the expectations of the organization from their
workforces.
5) Further, it can be observed that the Director of the organization has the expectation to
promote recruitment, training and development of the workforces and in order to meet
such expectations the organization need to establish a systematic process of recruiting
and selecting the eligible candidates as well as meeting the basic needs of the
workforces in order to maintain their satisfaction level at the highest in addition to
creating a new department to handle various recruitment related functions so that the
managers can perform their assigned tasks rather than getting involved in recruitment
activities. Therefore, in order to meet such objectives, the organization would need to
adopt activities such as advertising as well as making arrangements for conducting
interviews and also maintaining recruitment records.
6) With respect to maintaining the standard workforce law, the organization would need
to ensure that fair workforces related activities are performed which would help the
organization to effectively assign required jobs to the respective workforces as per the
labor law as well as it would also enable the organization to maintain a healthy
organizational culture within the organization and for achieving such objectives, the
organization would need to establish and practice suitable policies as well as adopt
alterations in the workforces contracts etc.
7) Further in order to solve the issue in relation to wrong activities performed by the
workforces, the organization need to improve the relationship among the workforces
as well as with their seniors so that they recognize the organizational goals and work
for meeting such common goals wherein the managers need to provide guidance to
the workforces in relation to such objectives and provide correction in every level
wherever they observe wrongful practices adopted by the workforces.
8) Further in relation to solve the issue of workforce turnover, the organization need to
adopt fair treatment method of dealing with workforces as well as promote various
training and development whereby they can achieve the objectives of improving the
motivational level of the workforces and also improving their skills and talents which
in turn would enable them to perform better in their activities thereby provide job
satisfaction which also would enable the organization to reduce the workforce
turnover.
9) Lastly, in terms of solving the issue of managers spending more of their time in
dealing with administration issues can be solved by establishing HR administration
department that would deal with various workforce related problems thereby enabling
the organization to focus upon their long term objectives and thereby some of the
functions to be performed in order to meet such objectives would be that of taking the
responsibility of administrative functions by making free the managers to perform
their major roles as well as handling the various recruitment and selection procedures
and also ensuring that the workforces are compiled with the policies and practices
stated by the organization as well as the government of the nation; further, it also need
to handle various legal activities as well as conduct exit interviews for individuals
willing to leave the organization for good as well as also manage the pay related
functions of the workforces.
