PC-Lock Function

  • 1. Please use the location path as following to backup the pictures that using in elite V1.0 screen saver. X:\\ FAQuickMenu\PC-Lock\BMP\ (Example file name is 1440x900_Blue_Sky_Flowers_HM014_350A.jpg) PC-Lock of elite V1.0 is currently using this file as default picture of screen saver.

  • 2. It is recommended to backup original pictures of screen saver before updating to JetFlash elite

  • 3. If you would like to update your previous screen saver pictures to JetFlash elite V2.0, please copy pictures to this folder X:\Personal Data\PC-Lock pictures. (as demonstration below)

Secret-Zip Function

  • 1. Please run JetFlash elite V1.0’s Secret-Zip program, and restore the data from Secret folder (and Zip folder) in the JetFlash to the computer. (The files in Secret folder are encrypted by JetFlash elite V1.0, please decrypt the files to your computer before transferring to JetFlash elite V2.0.)

  • 2. Copy the desired file to the JetFlash elite V2.0’s Personal Data\My Documents folder. (The file that you want to encrypt.)

  • 3. Run JetFlash elite V2.0’s Secret-Zip Setup program to encrypt the data to JetFlash.

- This example requires the user to copy the file testing1.txt to Personal Data\My Documents\testing folder of the JetFlash in order to encrypt the file.

E-mail Function

Please follow procedures below to transfer your elite V1.0 E-mail to Outlook Express/Microsoft Outlook.

  • 1. Please make a folder under C:\ drive in the PC first. C:\email will be used as example to store and backup the emails.

  • 2. As illustrated below in Email function of JetFlash elite V1.0, click Ctrl+A (select all) to export and save all the emails.

Select from the Tool bar File -> Export Mail, the new window of Save As will pop out. Please browse and choose our destination folder C:\email, type the File name as mymail. Click on Save to export all the emails.

  • 4. After emails export, open My Computer -> C:\email and see all emails have been successfully transferred to the PC. The file name will have digits in sequence (starting from mymail0) as below.

() Import to Outlook Express

  • 1. Please open Outlook Express and the earlier destination folder (C:\email) at the same time. Click Ctrl+A (select all) under C:\email window. Left-click on the selected emails and drag to the Inbox of Outlook Express as below.

() Import to Microsoft Outlook

  • 1. There is a restriction for importing emails into Microsoft Outlook. You have to import emails into Outlook Express first and then export emails from Outlook Expres to Microsoft Outlook. (Thus, please follow part (I) before doing this step.

  • 2. Open Microsoft Outlook and run File -> Import and Export….

( Ⅱ ) Import to Microsoft Outlook 1. There is a restriction for importi ng emails

Backup Outlook Express/Microsoft Outlook e-mails from PC to JetFlash

JetFlash elite V2.0 E-mail Function can backup your Outlook Expres/Microsoft Outlook mails. After finishing to transfer from elite V1.0 to PC, you could transfer the emails to elite V2.0.

A. Transfer from Outlook Express:

1. Choose E-Mail at main page and select Outlook Express.

  • 1. Execute JetFlash elite V2.0 and then click the AutoLogin option in the menu.

6. Follow up the Step 2~5 of Auto-Login above to transfer all the registered website from JetFlash elite V1.0 to JetFlash elite V2.0.

  • 1. Run JetFlash elite V1.0 and click the Favorites option in the QuickMenu window. Favorites icon will be placed on the Windows System Tray.

Then run JetFlash elite V2.0 and click the AutoLogin option in the menu. In the Favorites tab of the AutoLogin window, select backup path from your PC to JetFalsh. Then click on the Synchronize button to continue.

Data Backup Function

  • 1. Run JetFlash elite V1.0’s DataBackup function and restore the data from DataBackup folder in the JetFlash to the PC.

- This example will restore the data in DataBackup folder in the JetFlash to C:\for test\test1.txt

- When using the DataBackup function, user can select My Documents or Selected Folder View. (This example will be using none My Documents folder, so select Selected Folder View.)

  • 4. Check if the transfer is successful. (test1.txt will show in JetFlash:\\Personal Data\My Folders\for test folder)
