Additional Comments:
 If you are consistent in your expectations when asking for their attention as well as during transitions, the students
will respond. Considering that this is your first full week with them, the students are still testing your authority.
 To check for student understanding, you might have students come to board and do, and talk through the different
examples; or use individual white boards and show their work
 Think about using your Teacher Center as a summative assessment opportunity to see how well students are
understanding the concepts. This would then guide your instruction for the next day. Or maybe even regroup that
same day.
 Since the math lessons on fractions are time intensive, I liked the way you dedicated one center to literacy
 Overall, the lesson went well. Components will continue to improve as you are there longer and you gradually assume
the role as the lead teacher
