1. PURPOSE

1.1 This procedure shall serve as a guideline for implementation to meet the quality attributes
in the application of sandfix everlast-HB as bituminous painting materials on
foundation surfaces.

2. SCOPE

2.1 This procedure specifically covers the inspection and instructions for sandfix everlast-
HB as bituminous painting materials on foundation surfaces to suit the project
requirements.

3. RESPONSIBILITY

3.1 Project Superintendent or Supervisor shall be responsible for performing the activity.

3.2 Project QC Manager or QC Supervisor or QC Civil Inspector shall be responsible for

all test, inspection and coordinate inspection point with PID.

5. METHOD

5.1 Materials

5.2 Preparation
5.2.1 Upon stripping the forms, proceed immediately in curing the concrete.
5.2.2 Do the cosmetic repair of the concrete surface with the use of Fosam Fosroc
Renderoc.
5.2.3 Conduct the moisture test.
5.2.4 Use compressed air to blow-out dust and debris from the concrete surface.

5.3 Mixing
5.3.1 Sandfix Everlast-HB is cold applied and direct use.

5.4 Application
5.4.1 Apply the paint according to APCS-10 by brush or roller.

5.5 Painting Works

Painting Works Procedure shall be done base on Manufacture's Catalog Sandfix
Everlast-HB. All pertinent documents/attachments for Painting Works shall be
monitored and recorded.

6 RECORDS

6.1 A copy of the pouring permit duly approved by the Saudi ARAMCO designated
representative shall be kept as a file document.

6.2 A pouring log history should be made for AL-KHODARI AND SONS ready reference; such
as curing time, moisture checks.

6.3 A painting log history shall be made for records and documentation.

The records documenting the compliance to Project Quality Plan and other project
requirements are to be filed and kept and to be submitted to Saudi Aramco at the close of the
project construction. The quality records will be available for S. Aramco review at any time.
