Dear friends in ministry;

Our Montgomery Baptist Association officially started an Acts 1:8 partnership with the International Mission Board
in Atzompa, Mexico during the 2017 annual meeting at Gateway Baptist Church. This is the hometown of many of
our Mixtec here in Montgomery.

Our IMB missionaries are trying something new-connecting Montgomery Baptists with a Mixtec church in
Yuvanani, right outside the area, and going with them to visit the families of our Montgomery Mixtec believers.
Teams will go in together to build relationships.

The initial involvement will be May 23-29, 2019. Joining the Yuvanani Mixtec Church team will be:
- Lisa Rose, MBA staff
- Rev. John Halbrooks, pastor/church planter of the Montgomery Mixtec Church
- Rev. Brian Gay, Missions minister at First Baptist Church (Brian grew up in Mexico as a missionary kid).

Lisa, John and Brian will be the first team from Montgomery to go to Atzompa representing our IMB partnership.
The missionaries have requested small teams of 3-4 people only to go on these trips.

The budget for this trip is below. We are hoping that you will join us by being a kingdom investor during this
partnership. We also need prayer partners as we prepare to go in May. More information will be coming on how
to intercede. Thank you in advance for praying and for giving toward this Great Commission effort.

Note any additional funds will be held by the MBA for future mission efforts to Atzompa, Mexico.

Itemized 2019 Mexico Mission Partnership Budget (per person)

$50 for roundtrip for bus tickets from airport

$200 for hotel rooms (beginning and end of trip)
$150 for food and miscellaneous.
$600 airfare
