PROPOSED LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR SPG OFFICERS

I. Title of the Project:


LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR SPG OFFICERS
II. Background:
The Department of education acknowledges the important role
that leadership plays in the Philippine educational system.As such,the
Supreme Pupil Government have been established,which is a miniature in
itself of the Philippine Government.It is here the future leaders are trained and
democracy is exercised.

III.Rationale:

Some people are natural leaders while others must be taught to be


leaders.Those who are natural leaders express leadership qualities on a daily
basis are merely in need of guidance and fine tuning when improving their
leadership habits.Those who must be taught to be leaders are in need of
education and awareness on what leadership is. Training for both types of
people should be taught with leadership training that encourage growth and
development for each individual.There is in need to provide adequate training
for the leaders to better equip them knowledge and skills which is essential in
running the miniature government system for the pupils.

In line with this,Masalasa Elementary School will be conducting a


LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR SPG OFFICERS with the end goal of empowering our
pupils as efficient and effective leader of the pupil government.
IV. Training Objectives:
After a series of lectures and workshops ,the participants are
expected to:
1.Gain deeper understanding on the nature of leadership and its core
values.
2.Know and understand the characteristic of a great leader.
3.Understand the importance and role of SPG officers.

Duration: 8 hours
Training Objectives: After a series of lectures and
workshops ,the participants are
expected to:
