b) Formulate the following product mix problem and obtain the optimal solution. A manufacturer produces
three models M-1, M-2, and M-3 of a certain product out of three raw materials R-1, R-2 and R-3.The
number of units of raw materials required to produce one unit of model is as given in the Table 1.He
wants to maximize his profit .The unit profit contribution of the models M-1, M-2, and M-3 are as 40, 25
and 50 respectively. The number of units of raw materials R-1, R-2 and R-3 available are 36, 60 and 45
respectively.
