 IT Equipment Rental Management System

The purpose of this project is to describe the various functional and nonfunctional
requirements of IT EQUIPMENT RENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. And it also fulfills
all requirements that are included in rental management systems by providing a
front-end interface.

This window based rental software tool for small and medium sized
companies in the IT equipment rental software package that helps process
bookings, scheduling and invoicing of equipment rentals.
 We used:
 Customer dairy.
 Inventory and schedules.
 Monthly Billings.
 Dues and defaults.
 Reports.
 Utilities.

 SOFTWARE PROJECT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The main objective of this project is to provide needs of the client.

Explanation:

The entire project has been developed keeping in view of the distributed client
server computing technology, in mind. In software industry, the major problem is
meeting the client requirements with specific to a software project development is
the deliverables that should be promised to the client. The client standardizes
himself to a contract and fixes a specific time on to the system, when the project
has to be delivered. Once the software development contract is signed, the actual
task on scheduling the manpower and machine requirements arises.

 Smart Card Technology

This seminar topic tells about the security systems like bankcards, driving license.
This is the sophisticated technology to provide security.

The Government Office: NSWC Adopts UNIX as System Standard - the Goal Is
Software Integration
UNIX has been set as an operating system standard for office automation and other
computer networks at the Naval Surface Weapons Center (NSWC). The standardization
is expected to expedite software integration, improve communications, and provide the
Center with vendor independence. Presently, the Center is using products from Prime
Computer Inc., Computer Consoles Inc., and Digital Equipment Corp. in its office
automation program. The Center's system is connected by Sytek Inc's local area
network. Applications include word processing, electronic mail, calendar management
and scheduling, and data management for personal databases.
