(ROBBERY-DOC-TESTIMONY)

Question 1: Do you swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth?

Answer 1: Yes.

Question 2: State your name please.

Answer 2: I AM LAURENCE SERNA

Question 3: Can you state you age and your occupation?

Answer 3: I am 24 years old. I worked for JRC as one of the IT technicians inside the
Salcedo towers

Question 4: In your affidavit dated March 20 2019 you said you were on the place of
incident on July 23, what do you remember on that day?

Answer 4: Yes. I was on my way to the 4th floor office of Salcedo Tower Condominium

Question 5: Who was with you during that time?

Answer 5: No one as I am the only one instructed to relocate the CCTV

Question 6: What happened next?

Answer 6: After I was able to retrieve the CCTV owned by Salcedo Towers, suddenly a
man came upon me threatening to hit me with a padlock and chain. I clearly
remembered when the man posed to hit me with chain and padlock that really shook me
and paralyzed me due to fear of being hurt. The man grabbed the cctv in the process
and made again the threat to hit me before he left.

Question 7: What did you do then?

Answer 7: I could not do anything. After the man left, I paused for a few seconds on what
should I do. I followed the person with caution not to get his attention and became aware
that I was following him. He proceeded to the 10th floor of the building. Then I
immediately reported the incident to my superiors and they are the one who
accompanied me to the police station.

Question 8: What happened then?

Answer 8: In the police station, the police officer asked me to narrate what happened
and after told me to sign a paper containing my statements.

Question 9: who is that police officer?

Answer 9: PO Arthur Las Pinas.

Question 10: How about the person whom you have reported to the Police who grabbed
the CCTV and threatened you, who is he?

Answer 10: He is Gerardo Flores.

Question 11: How did you know of him?

Answer 11: I previously had IT service engagements in his former office inside Salcedo
Towers.

Question 12: What kind of proof do you have that would substantiate your allegations?

Answer 12: The CCTV footages. Since there are other CCTVs installed within the 4th
floor of the building

Question 3: Do you personally know the accused in this case, Mr.

Gerardo Flores?

Answer 3: No.

Question 4: Where were you on Aug 25, 2015 at about 9

o’clock in the morning?

Answer 4: I was inside of the 4th floor office of Salcedo Tower Condominium

Question 5: Who was with you during that time?

Answer 5: I was with Mr gonatice.

Question 6: What transpired during that time?

Answer 6: I was talking with her. When suddenly a man came banging at the glass door
and shouting explicit words. I clearly remembered when the man said, “Lumabas kayo
diyan!Pag hindi kayo lumabas dyan, papaulanan ko kayo ng bala! Sabihin mo lumayas
sila dyan! Kundi papaulanan ko kayo ng bala!
Question 7: What did you do then, when he said those words?

Answer 7: I could not do anything. I hid under my table because of fear of the terrorizing
acts of the very angry man

Question 8: Why do you say that he was angry during that time?

Answer 8: Because when he got in front of office’s glass door, he was

swearing and he seemed to be pissed off of someone inside our office.

Question 9: Why do you say unpleasant behavior?

Answer 9: because of his threats of causing harm and injury by showering the office with
bullets if we wont come out of the office.

Question 10: Aside from the incident that happened last August 25 2019, was there any
other incident or threats that occured?

Answer 10: Yes. Last July 23 2015, we witnessed the same man in a commotion with
the security guards and 3 employees of JRC.

Question 11: What transpired during that time?

Answer 11: It was July 23, 2015. I had to walk from Ayala avenue going to the main
entrance of our office in Salcedo Street. Upon arriving, I saw a man making commotion
and threatening to hit the a chain and padlock 3 employees and the security guards of
our building.

Question 12: How would you substantiate you allegations?

Answer 12: Through the CCTV footage of the incident.

Question 4: Where were you in the afternoon of July 23, 2015?

Answer 4: I was at the makati police station hotline police assistance desk

Question 5: What did you remember during the day as regards an incident in one of the
buildings in Makati?

Answer 5: I remember receiving a complaint from one Laurence Serna of Salcedo

Towers regarding a certain Mr. Flores

Question 6: What happened next?

Answer 6: He reported that this Certain Mr. Flores has commited criminal acts inside the
building and that they needed police assistance as the same person was armed with
firearms.

Prosecutions’s Exhibit A. what is it?”

Answer 7: That’s the report I made based on the Mr Serna’s complaint.

Answer 9: Aside from the July 23 incident report, another incident occurred in Salcedo
towers.

Question 10: what is this incident?

Answer 10: This involves the threatening of the accused of spraying of bullets in the 4th
floor office of JRC to some of its employees as per report of the security personnel and
the victims themselves.
