faith journey ~ GELATT family update

God gives grace
But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift.
Ephesians 4:7

God gives us grace! I’ve heard many people say that grace is God giving us
what we don’t deserve. Wow—so true! When He gave us the gift of Grace
Elizabeth Gelatt, it was truly a gift that we did not deserve. She was born on
October 7th, and doing remarkably well. This gift of new life in Grace Eliza-
beth has given me pause to think about God’s gift of grace.

Serving on a team that is bringing the gospel message to tens of thousands

each year gives me ample opportunity to see God’s work of grace as it inter-
sects with a human life. Part of my role at the ministry is to connect and de-
velop relationships on the Internet, specifically Facebook. There I interact
with a few thousand people over the course of a month, encouraging them,
praying with them, and sharing God’s timeless truths. One such truth I get to
share often is the grace of God—how He lavishes His grace upon us, and the
difference that makes in a human life. Let me share a few comments from
some of the couples I have been allowed to minister to:

“God saved our marriage this weekend in Columbus OH . . .. . . and I LET him!!!”

“My husband and I attended Weekend to Remember in Greensboro and it changed our lives! Married for 3
years and struggling We realized how to truly love each other and receive each other as a gift from God!”

“My husband and I attended WTR last weekend in Greensboro..We had reached the complacent stage and I
had a bad case of 50/50 mentality. After our WTR experience I am more in love with my "GIFT from GOD" today
than the day I married him.”

“This ministry has really allowed God to speak volumes to my life. This weekend at South Padre Island, TX I
have realized how precious and HOLY my marriage is!”

“Three weeks ago we were filing for divorce, but 48 hours ago we recommitted our lives together and our family
to Christ. Lots of open heart tears and love came from God to us this weekend!”

God continues to give grace—to the Gelatt family, and to many others.
Thank you for supporting us through prayer and finances so that we can be serving here, sharing the gospel,
and seeing God’s work of grace change lives!
