● Tolerate ambiguity – Know that life isn’t always black and white; understand and work in a
“gray” area to be more comfortable and to understand subtleties better.

different ways of thinking and behaving.

work and responsibilities.
● Ability to follow directions – You need to be able to follow both simple and more complex
directions.
● Have personal goals – Have strong personal goals -- even if they change over time -- to help
yourself be engaged and stay on track.
● Be engaged – Participate actively in your own education, expect to work hard, and stay
involved.
What would you like to work on this year? Select two and write your thoughts below.
Name three ways you can work on developing this skill. Consider what you can do both inside
and outside of school.
Personally ways I think can help is setting up school goals such as finishing homework early,
which I do follow a lot and the sense of finishing that and finishing that goal really helps the
mind. A second way I would help is finding ways to help ease the mind, such as exercising. Last,
but not least it is important for the body to find peace with itself which is why it’s nice to set
goals in the early morning such as eating breakfast, which lets be real not a lot of teenagers do,
but doing simple goals like that help you in a large way.

The ways I figured out how to help is obviously classes at school. Some of the classes I partake
in always have something to do with computers, it is just how the world is. Now we have taken
technology in to things we do in everyday life. A lot of the classes make us do projects which
helps on how to edit videos and the things we should do to influence people. Another way to
help with technology is things like coding and other things to help with building websites. The
last reason that can help is just doing these things at home, looking at videos with what's new
because in a world where things change incredibly fast, everybody looks up to the younger
generations.
At the end of the year, you will reflect on your soft skills progress in your final presentation.
