ABSTRACT:

The current robotic technologies and intelligent technologies applied in electric vehicles have been
discussed. Vehicle structure design and motion control such as anti-slid, four wheel steering methods
are analyzed. Besides, the driving strategy, vehicle monitoring and human- machine interaction are
reviewed in details. Particularly, a new design of vehicle structure with detachable module is presented
with typical characteristics for future electric vehicles. The history of electric vehicles (EVs) can be
dated back to eighteen century, which was an electric tricycle powered by a group of non-rechargeable
batteries. Although EVs had been applied widely after their first appearance, they had been seriously
constrained because of the power system then diminished gradually. Due to the energy crisis, global
warming, air pollution such issues in the current world, EVs have gained their recovery opportunities
together with the development of modern science and technologies.
