Abu Nawas Win Hunting Games

Narrator : Once upon a time there was a smart and humble man named Abu Nawas. He
often receives challenges from the King Harun. He always wins those nasty challenges
and win bag of money. One day the king is planned to beat Abu Nawas.
King Harun : How do I can beat Abu Nawas? He is so crafty.
Narrator : Soon King remembered about hunting contest of tribesmen on the woods
King Harun : Finally, I know how to defeat Abu Nawas. I will hold a hunting contest. Abu
Nawas is just townsfolk. He knows nothing about hunting an animal. I will surely win.
Narrator : Soon king ordered one of his messengers to meet Abu Nawas.
King Harun : Go to Abu Nawas house and tell him I invite him to Royal Hunting between me
and him. The winner of this game determined from number of caught animal. All
animal can be hunted is count. If he wins he may possess a half of Baghdad treasury
but if he loses I will punish him so badly. If he agrees tell him to meet me on the
woods tomorrow.
Messenger : Yes, You’re Highness
Narrator : Messenger came to Abu Nawas house. He still teaches his students.
Abu Nawas : To become a philosopher you must continuously ask why. Wait a minute I have
a guest.
Messenger : Abu Nawas, I bring a message from King Harun.
Abu Nawas : Tell me what news you bring, my friend.
Messenger : King Harun invites you to Royal Hunting toe to toe with him. The winner of this
game determined from number of caught animal. All animal is can be hunted count. If
you win, you may possess half of Baghdad Treasury but if you lose King Harun will
punish you. What is your answer Abu?
Abu Nawas : Let me think for a while.
Messenger : My friend, you are so bad at hunting. You can’t even catch a mouse. King Harun
on the other hand is talented on hunting. The rumors tell the king can shoot a deer with
an arrow without even looking at it. Please, refuse it King will humiliate you.
Narrator : Abu Nawas laugh so hard.
Abu Nawas : Hahaha, my friend do you forget the rules of the game, all animal is counted
because all of them can be hunted.
Messenger : What do you mean, Abu?
Abu Nawas : I accept the challenge.
Messenger : (sigh) I have warned you Abu, you may meet King Harun tomorrow on the
woods
Abu Nawas : Don’t Worry, I will surely win.
Narrator : Next Day, King Harun Gather all Baghdad people to watch Royal Hunting. King
appointed a woman that renowned is the wisest people in Baghdad City to become a
judge of the match.
Judge : Ladies and Gentleman, today we will saw a match of agility between King
Harun and Abu Nawas, who can bring the most animal at noon, will win.
Narrator : King Harun approach Abu Nawas
King Harun : Fear to lose, Abu
Abu Nawas : No your majesty, even I think you are going down
King Harun : May the best hunter win.
Abu Nawas : Sure.
Narrator : King Harun is wonder about Abu Nawas overconfident. But he takes it easy
since he knows who best hunter between them.
Narrator : Soon, the game start
Judge : Let the game commence
Narrator : King Harun spurs his horse to the west and Abu Nawas walks slowly to the east.
~Six Hours Later~
Narrator : The King Harun is Return with lot of animals and the judge is counting it
Judge : 9 foxes, 12 rabbits, 2 boars, and a dear. Well catch My Lord.
Narrator : Shortly after arrival of King Harun, Abu Nawas came with a piece bamboo tree.
King Hassan : Where is your goods Abu Nawas, You said to me earlier you could beat me.
Abu Nawas : I bring lot of animal in this bamboo.
Narrator : Abu Nawas give the bamboo to the Judge. The judge smiles. The bamboo
contains a lot of ants.
Judge : I can’t even count your catch Abu Nawas, you bring a colony of ant. With this
catch I announce Abu Nawas as the winner of the match .Congratulation Abu Nawas.
Narrator : The people of Baghdad laugh even the king.
King Harun : (Laugh) one more time you proof yourself as the smartest man who live Abu
Nawas. As promised half of Baghdad Treasury is yours.
Abu Nawas : Thousand Thanks, Milord.
