Homework On a chart paper student will make two tables. On one part he/she will draw/ paste a picture of a mode of
communication of earlier times and another on another he/ she will draw/ paste a picture of a mode of
communication of recent days. Below the photos, they will write advantages and disadvantages of both.

Procedures Description Duration
Initial Activity: Teacher will review the previous lessons by taking feedback from the 10 min
learners. They will be asked about the discussions they were
instructed to have with their elders at home about the modes of
communication in earlier days.
Developing Activity: Teacher will divide students into 5 groups. Each student 5 min
will be handed stickers of jumbled up words from the
central idea along with coloured papers.

One student in each group must be skilled in English.


Teacher will hence organize the teams by keeping this in
mind. No further instruction regarding solving the puzzle
will be given from teacher. 20 min

The correct works will be pasted on board. All students


will be appreciated. 5 min

Concluding Activity: Review and feedback. 5 min

Initial Activity: Teacher will review previous day’s lesson and divide students 10 min
into 5 groups of 4 members each and hand out chart papers.
Developing Activity: Students will first watch this video. 20 min

Each group will be given one of these scenarios by choosing
from folded papers.
1. Businessman wants to connect to buyers.

2. Caught in a natural disaster. Want to communicate to
rescuers.
3. Politician wants to communicate with citizens, journalists,
voters.
4. Teacher wants to communicate to students more
effectively.
5. You own a restaurant and you want to increase your
number of customers)

Each group will discuss and write down how they can make
the most use of mass media.

Students will decorate the chart paper. Teacher will rectify


spelling mistakes.
