Product Description
Mobilgard 450 by ExxonMobil is a high performance,
zinc-free diesel engine oil formulated with high-quality
basestocks which provide low consumption characteristics,
high-temperature oxidation resistance and thermal
stability. These basestocks are combined with specially
selected stable additives resulting in an engine oil with
well-balanced performance properties. Mobilgard 450
diesel engine oil has been specifically formulated to meet
the requirements of heavily loaded diesel engines used in
marine applications. It has outstanding lubrication properties
and provides the necessary protection against corrosion.

conditions. Mobilgard 450 exhibits superior wear control
in piston rings and cylinder liners. It also possesses
exceptionally good water separating capability. The
detergent/dispersant qualities of Mobilgard 450 increase
filter life and engine cleanliness and its sustained high
alkalinity provides excellent corrosion protection when
using fuels containing up to 1.5 percent sulphur, even
though metals such as steel, copper, silver and bronze
are present.
