Creating a video with audio in Adobe Premiere Pro CC

-Reference Guide-

Setting up Video

On Mac PC go to Applications
1. folder (bottom of screen)

Click on Adobe Premiere

2. Pro CC

When Premiere opens click

Click “ok”
“New Project” and give
project a name.

Importing and Editing clips

1. After you download media (audio and video) click and drag downloads into the project
window
2. Once files are imported in to the Project window, you may drag videos and audio into the
timeline window
3. In the timeline section you can edit the length, opacity, volume, and transitions of your
video and audio clips by using effects

Adding Effects
1. Transitions between video clips
• Click effects
• Scroll to video transitions and right click desired transition
• Click “Set selected as default transition”
• Click and drag to the beginning and/or ending of the clip in the timeline window

2. Transitions between audio clips

• Click effects
• Scroll to audio transitions and right click desired transition
• Click “Set selected as default transition”
• Click and drag to the beginning and/or ending of the audio clip in the timeline
window
