I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, learners are able to:
A. Properly Identify the Elements and features of a Ceiling Plan
B. Draw Ceiling Plan according to Architectural Drafting Standards

II. Subject Matter

III. Procedure
A. Preparation
 Greetings
 Agreement
B. Motivation (Brainstorming)
 The teacher will present a video clip showing 3 D views of a typical Ceiling Plan. Then
ask the learners to say something of what is shown to them
C. Presentation of the Lesson
 Along with the video shown, let the learners guess what will be the topic to be discussed.
 The teacher will present to the class the learning targets for the day.
 The teacher present the topic, ‘’Ceiling Plan’’.
D. Discussion
 With the aid of electronic media, related pictures and working drawing the teacher will
discuss to the class the elements and important features of Ceiling Plan and the
operational procedure in drafting a Ceiling Plan.
 Let the learners participate actively during the discussion by expressing their own ideas
about the elements and important features of Ceiling.
E. Generalization
 Let the students generalize the topic that was discussed and presented.
 Imagine living in a house in a Roof without a ceiling especially around 10am to
3am under the heat of the sun everyday…
F. Application
 Each learner will draft/design a Reflected Ceiling Plan using an identical Floor Plan.
Thus drafted Ceiling Plan must include the important features of a typical Ceiling plan
and drawn in accordance with the architectural drafting standards.
 The teacher will present and discuss to the rubrics for scoring and let each group rate
the other group work using the presented rubric.
