BUSINESS PLAN

CORE OF THE PLAN:-

The crux behind the idea is to open “WOMEN TOURS AND TRAVELS” Company
that will provide tours and travel facilities only to the women.

FOCUS:-

(A) To organize travel facility to the School/college girls from rural/urban India
who travels to their entrance centre in metro cities during their entrance
examination.
(B) To organize solo women trip for working women, college girls, housewives
in weekend or in any other time (Customizable trips).

MAIN FEATURES:-

Safety and security of the women will be the prima facie concern of the company
for that-

 GPS tracking facility will be provided and even CCTV surveillance can be
accessed by the nominee of the client.
 Full detail of the driver will be given on the website.
 One Guide will be provided whose information can also be sought from the
website.

INDUSTRY ANALYSIS AND OPPORTUNITY:-

The World Travel & Tourism Council calculated that tourism generated ₹8.31 lakh
crore (US$120 billion) or 6.3% of the nation's GDP in 2015 and supported 37.315
million jobs, 8.7% of its total employment.1 Domestic tourist visits to all states
and Union Territories numbered 1,036.35 million in 2012, an increase of 16.5%
from 2011.2 So there is a huge scope in the industry.

Further there is about 1M-10M searches in India on the Google search engine
every month for the keyword “WOMEN TOURS PACKAGE”, 100k-1M searches
every month only in Delhi which shows ‘DEMAND’ of the women only tours and
travels facility in the country.3

COMPETITION:-

There is no single domestic company in the country which focuses on providing


tour and travel facility to college/school going girls, which arranges trips to
working and non working women around their neighboring places.

Big giants like yatra.com, makemytrip.com etc. provides women only tour facility
occasionally but their approach is far from rural India and their packages are
beyond the reach of middle class women.

So there is no competition from anyone in this business.

STRATEGY AND GOAL:-

Our goal will be to provide facility within reasonable prices so that girls and
working women can easily avail it.

First it will be restricted from Delhi to neighboring state like U.K, U.P. then it can
be spread to other places also.

Our strategy is to first execute this idea on a website and to promote it, and to
gather information of different entrance examination, hotels, vehicle (can be
easily rented) etc.

MARKETTING:-

Website will be promoted on web along with simultaneous advertisement on the


ground.

We will approach to campuses, coaching centre and working pools for our
promotion.

CONCLUDING REMARK:-

It will be a great initiative for women safety and security during tours and travel
even it will create job opportunities to the drivers, guides, hotels, etc.

 Even guardians will also feel safe for their girls going away first time for the
entrance examination.
 Working women can customize their trip to the nearest shopping venture.
For example: A one day trip can be organized to Jaipur from Delhi or to
Agra on a weekend.
