WRITING 1

In my life I have only had a best friend, and it is the most valuable friendship for me,
our friendship has gone through a lot, but always bringing out the best of each
experience lived together. Grace is her name, she is a very friendly and fun
person, but what characterizes her most is that she spends her time helping puppies,
that is admirable.
We became friends by going to the same academy to prepare for college. Meeting
new people gave me a little fear, but the first day of classes changed everything
because it was fun since we had to sit together. I remember that she asked me
something that she had not understood and neither did I, it made us laugh to know
that we were in the same situation, so it all began. In recesses ,We enjoyed talking
about of our hobbies and what we wanted to study at university.
We made our friendship stronger by sharing many experiences together such as
going to study at the center's library, having lunch together and when after all our
hard work entering college together.
Studying at the university was the most beautiful stage of our friendship. We had
many challenges such as projects and exhibitions of different courses ,we were
interested in learning more about our career . We spent the whole night finishing the
work of the university. Practically seeing us was day to day.

We have stayed friends by being connected so far through social networks or phone
calls. It is always nice to know about her since now our lives are exhausting with the
work.

Having a friendship of years say that it is a friendship forever. I agree with that.

WRITING 2

Well my health, I think it's something I've neglected a bit but I'm working in these last
months in it.
my diet is now good, I've been going to a nutritionist at the Cayetano hospital.,and
now I am like more vegetables and I drink water every day.

In my breakfasts I eat an apple, a sandwich, and a glass of orange juice. In the

afternoon I have chicken and vegetables for lunch.
At dinner I choose to drink tea because I think it is lighter so I drink 2 cups of tea
before going to sleep.

Exercising is a great challenge for me, I did not practice any sport because I always
said that I did not have time but now that has changed, I have organized better and
now I have started to run three times a week. I have noticed changes in my health,
I have more energy to start my day.

My job now is to try to maintain myself and be perseverant because sometimes I get
out of the diet. Sugar is my biggest weakness, I'm trying to cut back on its
consumption, for example now I only add a teaspoon of sugar to my cup.
Health is important to be able to do our things and only perseverance and discipline
will help us. people expect to get sick of something to start soon would be better to

WRITING 3

As I have read there are different personality types, and I think the C-type personality
comes close to how I could be.

I am a young woman who likes the details, I am very strict with the things I do, I take
care of every detail, every project which I take is organized in detail.

Type C are people who are sensitive, introverted. Well I think that if it characterizes
me a little at the beginning, being in a new environment with new people may scare
me at the beginning, but then I adapt and I have confidence in people whom I
consider.

My friends, who study with me at the university, say that I can have the type b
personality whose characteristic is to be a charismatic and friendly person. I believe
that it can be in the moments when I am with my trusted friends.

I think that depending on the moment as time goes by you can take from each
personality certain characteristics. I have changed with time before I was more shy
and now I can say that I have been able to make more friends especially in the
university where I met very good friends of life.

This Daily Habit Could

Reduce Your Risk of
Cancer by 20 Percent

You can probably imagine that just a few bad habits might increase your
risk of cancer. But fortunately, one of your most powerful cancer-fighting
tools is waiting in your bathroom as we speak. Yes, it’s time to take your
dentist’s advice to heart; brushing your teeth regularly could stave off
esophageal cancer, according to a 2017 study.

Researchers at New York University analyzed bacteria samples from

122,000 people’s mouths, using a DNA test to identify each species. Then,
they recorded how many participants developed esophageal cancer over
the study’s 10-year period.

The final results, which were recently published in the journal Cancer
Research, found that participants who had high levels of certain bacteria—
namely, Tannerella forsythia and Porphyromonas gingivalis—were up to
21 percent more likely to develop esophageal cancer. Another bacterial
strain called Neisseria, on the other hand, appeared to decrease an
individual’s risk of developing cancer. Don’t miss even more things your
dentist wants you to know (but you’re too afraid to ask).

“Our study indicates that learning more about the role of oral microbiota
may potentially lead to strategies to prevent esophageal cancer or at least
to identify it at earlier stages,” lead author Professor Jiyoung Ahn said.
“Esophageal cancer is a highly fatal cancer, and there is an urgent need
for new avenues of prevention, risk stratification, and early detection.”

The best way to keep your mouth bacteria-free? Brush your teeth and visit
your dentist regularly. Just make sure you’re not making these common
tooth-brushing mistakes as you clean up those pearly whites.

Keep in mind that these findings don’t necessarily prove that mouth
bacteria causes cancer. The increased risk could be due to gum disease,
which arises from the bacterial presence, instead. Regardless, it can never
hurt to brush up (pun intended!) on the top oral hygiene tips for healthy,
whiter teeth.
