• Collected water samples of frozen and open waters on the Assiniboine and Souris Rivers
and the western tributaries of the Red River while working with the Water Stewardship of
Manitoba and Turtle Mountain Conservation District and the Lake Winnipeg Foundation.
• Gathered water samples at the FortWhyte Alive lakes for Aquatic Botany to test for
conductivity, PAR, Secchi disk depth, oxygen saturation, nitrogen and phosphorus
concentration and chlorophyll concentration.

equipment.

patterns and associate them with theories and hypotheses learned in the lecture.
• Input data from lab exercises into Excel tables and figures, as well as used program
formulas and input formulas to calculate values for university courses.
• Wrote lab reports in Microsoft Word that included an introduction, results, discussion,
tables, figures and references for Limnology, Aquatic Botany and Principles of Ecology.
• Transferred data from a physical filing system to an online filing system while working for
Turtle Mountain Conservation District.
