Background of project :
Need and justification of project :
■ Initiation of new technology.
■ Labours requirement is less.
■ Avoids the dust and blasting.
■ All types of modern chemicals are available easily.
■ Environment friendly.
■ Can resist any type of load carrying capacity.
■ Comparatively, less cost to other foundations.

Objectives of project :
■ To provide required workability and slump retention of foundation under
all condition.
■ To provide anchorage to the foundation for preventing its movement in a
vertical direction due to alternate swelling and shrinkage of soil in
expansive soils caused by seasonal changes in moisture content .
■ To provide additional bearing area through the enlarged bulb in firm
strata, underlying the top weak or filled up ground.
■ To obtain adequate load carrying capacity for downward, upward and
lateral loads and moments.
■ To take the foundation below the scour level.
■ To anchor the building to good bearing ground.

Strategies : By making a model of the imitating project and explaining about it.
Methodology :
■ Cleaning : The surface should be cleaned properly.
The water should sprinkled on the surface.

■ Drilling : The holes are being drilled into no. of holes required for inserting
the bars.
The holes are drilled in such a way that the diameter of holes should be
5mm more than the diameter of bars
For example- 30mm diameter for 25mm diameter bars.
■ Mixing of chemicals :The chemical is being mixed according to design.
■ Filling of chemicals : The chemical is being than poured into the holes.
■ Vibrating : This is done to fill the air gaps or voids.
■ Placing of bars : The bars are than inserted into the holes.
■ Hardening : Then the surface is tamped and hardened.
