It discusses about the perception of the female investora, their low
confidence,risk appetite and habit of doing what they are told.They
woukd settle for less returns but are not keen on taking risks.Also as
the income level is also low as compared to the male investors as a
result theie wealth accumulation is low hence lower investmnet and
saving rate.

This paper suggests that while making an invetment female investors


seek for a stable income and keep a number of factors in mind such as
safety,liquidityand profitablity but male investors think about profitability
only as the basis of investment.Whereas small investors's perception is
concerned they invest in post office schemes and various other
government schemes.Also the level awarenes is high among the old
age group as compared to that of young age group. Demographics is
also a very important factor that leads to investment decisions in
bonds,stocks etc

This paper suggests that before making any investment the investor
should have indepth knowledge of all the available investment
opportunities is important. As incomplete knowledge of the market is
not a healthy start to investing.The companies are inveting and
learning about behavioral finance.

This study focuses on the relationship of dependent variables such as


age,gender of an individual investor. Though risky securities provide
ahigher return but still the investors prefer risk free return.This study
confirms that even if indian investors have high income, are well
educated and independent still prefer to invest in risk free securities
and they always try to play safe.The author concluded that the
objective of motivating the public to invest their savings in the stock
market will be only achieved if the regulatory authorities succed in
providing a manipulation free stock market.

The study seeks to examine the relationship betwwn various factors


affecting the decision making of making investments by collecting
primary data on the investor's demographic profile,knowledge about
various grievances, awareness about the functions of various
grievances redressal agenciesloading of complain and their
sarisfaction level.He also recommends that investors should consider
all the options carefully before investing.
This paper studies "Investment Pattern of people" The author has
concluded that the people of bangalore are mostly aware of all the
available investment avenues and their tax saving benefits and the
risks associated with it but the people in Bhuwneshwar are quite
conservative in their investment approach and invest only in post office
savings , small schemes and bank deposits.Also the study focuses on
the perception of mutual fund investors. This tudy also focused on the
different age groups of the investors that whether that are aware of all
the available investment avenues or not.
