Today, we and the We Are Florida Coalition are issuing an emergency travel advisory for the state of Florida,

and we need you

to spread the word!
We are urging immigrants and people of color to avoid Florida if anti-immigrant politicians successfully pass SB168
and HB 527. Both of these bills, if signed into law, would legalize racial profiling, harassment, and violence against
immigrants.
Our members and their communities in Florida have already taken over the state Capitol and are speaking out, but the
business community and many leaders are staying silent while the Trump-hate takes hold. We must urge Florida businesses
to publicly condemn SB168 and HB527:

Sign this petition urging Florida businesses to oppose these bills and support immigrants.

While these bills are not yet laws, if passed, any immigrant family going to the grocery store, any Black or brown college
student with Spring Break plans, and every immigrant in Florida - a state where 1 in 5 people are immigrants - will be in
danger.

This advisory and petition are the next steps in our fight to stop these cruel and inhumane bills. Florida extremists are trying to
ram this hate into law fast. We need your help to get the word out and ensure they can’t get away with this. They need to
know that all of us around the country are watching and are ready to take action to protect Florida’s immigrants:
