CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS

PREAMBLE

We, the members of the Kinematics Society, imploring the aid of the Almighty God, in order to
develop the general welfare of the student, supportive and participating partner of the
institution in establishing programs/ activities, projects and other initiatives that truly lead the
students in enhancing and developing the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social aspect
of the students in terms Music, arts, Physical Education and Health that will bring them
knowledge and skill to become a competent and successful individual in the near future, freely
commit ourselves to the society, do ordain and promulgate this Constitutions and By-Laws.

Article I
NAME

Section 1. The name of the society shall be Kinematics Society, herein in prepared to us
MAPEH Majors.

Section 2. The Kinematics Society is composed of the students of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa
taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Music, Arts, Physical Education and
Health (MAPEH)

Article II
Purpose

Section 1. The main purpose of the society is to help and support the different programs and
activities that will be establish especially the College Intramurals which is the BIGLAKSAN.

Section 2. The Kinematics Society is establish on the following objectives:

1. To develop physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social aspect concerning Music,
Arts, Physical Education and Health.
2. To establish different activities regarding Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health
that will enhance the knowledge and skills of every student; and
3. To increase measured proficiency in Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health terms
of productions and presentations.
 Article III
Membership

Section 1.The members of this society shall be a student of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa taking
up Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Music, Arts and Physical Education, Health
(MAPEH).

Article IV
RIGHTS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITITY OF MEMBERS

Section 1. The members shall be have the rights:

1. The right to vote on all matters relating to the affairs of the club;
2. The right to the participate in all activities of the club;
3. The right to use facilitate/resources of the society; and
4. The right to be eligible to any elective or appointive officers of the society.

Section 2. Each member shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
1. To actively participate in all activities of the society;
2. To attend all meeting of the society;
3. To pay all the dues and others expenses of the society; and
4. To obey and comply with the by-laws, rules and regulation that may be promulgated by
the society from time to time.

Article V
OFFICERS

Section 1. The officers of the society shall be:

a. A Chairman
b. A Vice-Chairman
c. A Secretary
d. A Treasurer
e. A Auditor
f. A Project Officer
g. Two (2) Public Information Officers
h. Three(3) Representatives

Section 2. All students voting members of the club in a good academics standing shall be
eligible to hold office.

Section 3. The term of office for the officers of the Kinematic Society shall hold the office on this
year until their successor are duty elected and qualified of the following year.

Section 4. The officers shall be elected through: a. Votes from Second year, Third year and
Fourth year MAPEH students and b. Votes from former Kinematics Officers.
 Article VI
DUTIES OF OFFICERS

Section 1. The duties of the Chairman shall be follows:

1. Preside over all regular membership meetings;
2. In-charge in directing and overseeing of the activities of the club.
3. Submit the minutes of meeting, the complete report of the activities and the operation
of the club to the adviser and to the members of the club of the fiscal year under his
term;
4. Call a special meeting;
5. Sign all financial documents of the society; and
6. Represent the society

Section 2. The duties of the Vice- Chairman shall be follows:

1. Preside in the absence of the Chairman; and
2. If qualified, shall exercise all the powers and all duties that be assigned by the
Chairman.

Section 3. The duties of the Secretary-Treasurer shall be as follows:

1. Take a brief minutes of each meeting and take care of any major correspondence the
society as a whole;
2. Keep a record of all financial and historical documents. The treasurer shall submit all
financial record to the Students Activities Accountant when required for audit;
3. Sign all financial documents; and
4. Turn in all financial records for a re-issue to the Treasurer when required or
appropriate.

Section 4. The duties of the Auditor shall be as follows:

1. Have charge to all expenses of the society; and
2. Audit all the money to be used by any of the society member with permission of the
Chairman.

Section 5. The duties of the Project Officers shall be as follows:

1. Have charge to all incoming and outgoing activities of the society of the club concerning
their respective task assigned to them by the chairman with the consent of their
adviser.

Article VII
MEETINGS

Section 1. The annual meeting of the members shall be held at the Physical Education and
Sport Science Department Office or in any room that may be assigned by the Chairman or the
adviser during first of July of each year.
 a) The Chairman shall render his agenda to the members regarding the planned activities
of the club.
b) The election of the new officers shall be held during the first annual meeting.

Section 2. Special meetings of the club may be called by the chairman or upon the request of 2/3
of general membership.

Section 3. Notices of the time and place of the annual and special meeting shall be given either
personal, written or thru the electronic mail, at least two (2) weeks of every meetings shall state
briefly the purpose/ agenda of the meeting.

Section 4. Quorum
a) A quorum is the numbers required to be able to transact official business.
b) A quorum shall be consists of the two (2/3) of the membership.

Article VIII
FINANCES

Section 1. Dues will be paid by individuals of the group as set by a majority vote of a voting
members.

Section 2. The funds of the club shall be derived from fund raising, dues and special assessment
of the members of the club.

Section 3. Fund will be used for the operation of programs/activities and things involving
money.

Section 4. Withdrawal of the funds either by check or any instruments shall be signed by the
chairman and other designated signatories.

Article IX
AMENDMENTS

Section 1. The changing can be done upon reading of these by-laws to the body by the
Chairman. Two-thirds (2/3) vote of the body is needed to amend a statement written inside the
by-laws.

Article X
THE SEAL

Section 1. The seal or logo is the standard symbols of this society every drawings feature in the
logo have their different meanings which represents the society members and the society.

aiming for the promotion and success of each student through settled and planned activities which
our society can offer and render.

We know in the deepest of our belief that the Education Departments is considered as the
crowning glory of this constitution and we believe that our skills and qualifications serve as the
proof of our ability in fitting that role and identity.

KINEMATICS SOCIETY
SY:2017-2018

The name of this society shall be Kinematics Society, herein referred to as MAPEH Majors. The
Kinematics Society is composed of the students of KolehiyongLungsodngLipa taking up Bachelor of
Secondary Education Major in Music, Arts, Physical Education and Heath (MAPEH).

OBJECTIVES:

 To recognize Kinematics Society not just an organization that promotes interest in fields of Music,
Arts, Physical Education and Heath but also as a society that promotes excellence of students.
 To fully develop the students different aspects such as morally, spiritually, mentally, emotionally
and psychologically.

The following are the programs and services that our society can render:
1. Continuity of “Shoot Mo, Bote Mo” Campaign
This is a project of former Kinematics officers which aims to collect plastic bottles and sell
them afterwards to raise funds.
2. Seminar of Self Defence
This seminar is all about self defence that everyone needs.
3. Community Extension
The community extension seeks to promote the community welfare development.
4. Providing T-shirts of Kinematics Society
This project aims to have an organization shirt for all kinematics society, to recognize as a
mapeh major.
