About APXLDS 2011

APXLDS stands for Asia Pacific Exchange and Leadership Development Seminar,
which is an international conference held in Asia Pacific region annually.

APXLDS consists of:

 Training sessions for AIESECers about leadership, organization understanding, soft
skills..
 Meetings of the top leaders to build & align strategy for AIESEC activities
in Asia Pacific
 Special Events with direct engagement from externals and partners. This consists of
trainings, workshops conducted by corporate executives, and cultural events to
demonstrate and exchange each AP countries unique culture.

Purpose of APXLDS

For AIESECers, the conference focuses on cultivating youth leadership potential and creates
an international learning environment with culture sensitivity, active learning, social
responsibility, and entrepreneurship. Also, APXLDS is a great opportunity to broaden young
people’s world view and increase their network.

For Partner Organizations/Companies, the conference provide access to a pool of

international students with entrepreneurial spirit, leadership capacity and diversified socio-
economic understanding. Also, APXLDS is a good way to position and promote your
organization brands, programs, activities, and be branded as an active supporter of youth
development.

In 2011, APXLDS is going to be held on 20th to 26th of March in Ho Chi Minh City,
Vietnam with the participation of over 250 student representatives from more than 20 Asia
countries.
