ABSTRACT

In this project we use MQ6 as the LPG gas sensor. The sensor can sense the
LPG gas when it is leak or spread in air from cylinder or its container. This sensor
can be place near to cylinder for better result.

In this project if gas is leak then lamp is switch OFF to prevent explosion
buzzer produce sound for information and exhaust fan work to exhaust the air.

This project is very useful to prevent accident by LPG leakage.

BLOCK DIAGRAM AND WORKING
 There are different blocks are use for different functions. Here we explain
working of each block step by step:-

GAS SENSOR

Here MQ6 gas sensor is use to sense of gas leakage and convert into analog
signal.

SIGNAL AMPLIFIER

The analog signal obtain from gas sensor is amplified by signal amplifier.

MICROCONTROLLER IC

It is use to interface gas sensor with fan, lamp and speaker. Here we use 40 pin
microcontroller IC having 4 port each port has 8 input output bits means it is
possible to use any port as a input port or output port.

POWER SUPPLY

Here we use +5V regulated power supply for the microcontroller IC and +12v
unregulated supply for relay and astable multivibrator.
CRYSTAL OSCILLATOR

It is use to provide external clock pulse to the microcontroller IC.

RELAY DRIVER 1

The current obtain from microcontroller IC. Is not sufficient to drive relay
therefore for relay driving relay driver1 is use.

RELAY 1

It is use to operate fan

RELAY DRIVER 2

It is use to drive relay2

RELAY 2

It is use to operate lamp.

NEGATIVE SUPPLY DRIVER

It is use to drive negative supply of astable multivibrator.

ASTABLE MULTIVIBRATOR

It is use to generate astable frequency output of astable multivibrator connect to

speaker.

SPEAKAR

It is use to convert electrical signal into corresponding sound signal.

Advantages and disadavantages
