This desktop is relevant for RC Media Team due to heavy video editing, processing and burning the DVD master copy
for awards day or any event throughout the year. Daily video recording needs a better PC to process it and distributed
to user in fast way to improve efficiency of RC services to user for example Kaigi Event video took 26gb of storage
and need bigger RAM to process the video. Daily photo request by email also need a better PC for editing and sent to
user. Existing pc just capable to send 15 picture in time then it would hang or lag and it took longer time for media
team to transfer or process the new photo during yearly student registration and also when unexpected request from
UEM group.it would be improve a process of sending and editing photo that being requested by user to us. This pc
also support as the storage of recent activity of the KYUEM student and staff. We going to need 2 pc of above
specification. We want to follow the media standard(that being practice in media prima and astro) which the video
and photo not being mixed in one pc because it would affect the pc performance and also help for us to manages, store
and receive the raw material from cameras and video cam. RC nowadays is moving forward to implement and also
developed several online system related to library needs and usage. For example like KOHA(Koha is an open source
Integrated Library System, used world-wide by public, school and special libraries), book sale online and student
evaluation form this PC will help to customize several coding or personalization of the system itself.

Most of library in Malaysia changing to web based library system. We already have the system (KOHA)
just need the real server that can fit and manages 16,000 library material. This server could also be an
online media archive so it will be better retrieval and back up of media collection to the user. In addition
the library portal also can be develop using this server.

returning library material, exeat card photo printing, past paper download and printing top up
system(Do it yourself printing).Due to this usage, specification that needed at counter PC is at least i7
processor as above to reduce lag and improve library service activities at the RC counter.
