Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees

Board Meeting held on March 13, 2019

Marie Black called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

Minutes from January 2019. Dr. Imogene Mixson moved to have the January minutes
approved and Christina Faulkner seconded. All were in favor and the motion passed.

Circulation Report. Sandra Holmes gave an overview of this report.

Financial Report. Sandra Holmes stated that we received our yearly allocations from the City
which was level funding. New Building Fund contributions October – February $12,077.72.
Vanguard Account is up $807.37 this month with total assets of $52,371.42.

Old Business.
A. Library Update. Dr. Imogene Mixson suggested that Christina Faulkner work on
coming up with the publicity posters and flyers to display in the library and businesses
throughout Ozark. The main focus for the fundraiser ideas will be to educate the public
on getting a new library. It was also suggested to use the new design logo for the T-shirts
on the flyers and posters.

B. United Way: On February 22 some of the Library staff member met with the United
Way committee members to answer questions and give an overview of the Library’s
mission. We have not yet received our requested funding.

New Business.

A. Friends of the Library (FOL). Book sale is March 23.

B. Volunteer Luncheon and National Library Week. The luncheon is scheduled for
12:00 noon April 10th.
 C. Fundraiser. No update. Donations are coming in weekly to the New Building Fund.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:08 a.m., and the next meeting will be held on April 10, 2019 at
9:00 a.m.
