Disobedience Promotes Social Stability

Being rebellious in certain occasions can be like breaking the rules in slavery. When

you’re in under pressure by strict rules it can lead to ponder the feeling of escaping and being

disobedient. Everyone has their own opinions for justice and liberty that makes them

independent. Disobedience brings a wide variety of consequences such as spiritual, physical,

emotional, and mental consequences. Yet, there are more beneficial outcomes to make any

person self- confident and have the ability to express themselves individually. Therefore,

disobedience is a valuable trait that strengthens social progress. To prove this three strategies that

are being used are logos, pathos, and a personal anecdote.

As people develop from young age to a maturing person they are obviously curious about

the open world . Some people peer pressure others to do drastic things that could lead to

consequences, but ultimately the main purpose of this can help those learn from their mistakes.

Doing something egregious can shape who we are in the future because nobody’s perfect.

It will leave some battle scars however it reminds you that good judgment comes from

experience and experience comes from poor judgment. Too many people remain in denial and

place the blame on others. The minute you take responsibility for yourself is when the learning

process will begin. When you admit your mistakes, you hasten your learning development and

mature over time. This leaves you to make better decisions in your social life and can collaborate

more effectively with others. Another reason is having freedom for yourself because there are

times when someone contemplates that an individual does not have dominant power based on

their opulence. This leads to a division of having distrust for people because they worked for

those who treated them unfairly, so they took a stand in order to place their happiness first.

Having the courage to break the rules makes you feel not trapped in a door of melancholy but

having the power of confidence which is good for social life to establish one's opinions about

things. This connects with logos because it gives out reasons behind the claim that supports it.

The second strategy used was pathos that inflicts the emotional tension about why

disobedience is important for social conduct. When something in your gut doesn’t feel

acceptable you have to follow the ways that can make one feel comfortable. For example, a

domestic husband forces his wife to do everything for him and she can't seem to take all of it.

Therefore, when she is under pressure she is afraid that she will get hurt if she disobeys him. You

can not always go by someone's choice if it doesn't make you happy. This can create emotional

issues to make a person stressed with depression, anxiety, and a lost in their identity. Another

reason why being a defiant is important is because if you’re not being true to yourself it won't

make you valuable in the future, so you must take action. Having a positive impression can bring

positivity to social peers endeavoring happy moments.

At times we should recognize that being a rebel can leave you with similar connections

with other people on what an individual can feel . With personal stories I was disobedient to my

mom because she excessively wanted me to clean without a simple rest. It was torture for me

because I had to do things for school and I felt as if she didn’t acknowledge that. I stopped and

stood up my ground to let her know that I’m capable of cleaning but not as a perfectionist.

Sometimes I have to admit to my mom that I growed up and deserve a little bit of freedom for

once. I then got that independence which led me to get my work done and have a socially active

attitude. Some may disagree because of religious beliefs that disobeying to the rules is a sin and a

ungrateful act towards god. However, the fact remains the same because humans have their own

ways to express themselves on what makes them feel satisfied. They usually are obedient when it

is based on learning lessons from parents so they can be responsible .

In conclusion, disobedience is a valuable trait which promotes social progress. It can give

out valuable life lessons that shapes us who we are in the future. It gives us different opinions on

what we think is acceptable for our being. Happiness is what we all deserve and if being

disobedient reaches that goal, there is no reason to suffer what you must obey to. Everyone has

their own freedom to do what they want for themselves and shouldn't be pressured to do

anything that makes them afraid.
