SUSPENSION AND RESUMPTION

ORDER

In order to expedite approval of time suspension/resumption/extension, amendments

to Department Oder No. 57, dated 14 August 2012, are hereby provided as follows:

a) Approval of Time Suspension/Resumption and Time Extension

b) A Variation Order (Extra Work/Change Order) with corresponding additional

contract time should be approved by the DPWH authorized Official in
accordance with D.O. No. 54, Series of 2011. Therefore, such time extension
granted to Variation Orders is not covered by this specific limit of authority in
the approval of Suspension/Resumption Order and Time Extension.

This Order amends the pertinent provisions of D.O. No. 57, Series of 2012, and takes
effect immediately.
