 Agriculture conducted on commercial principles, especially using


advanced technology.
 The group of industries dealing with agricultural produce and services
required in farming.

Example of Agribusiness:
 Farm Related- chemical company, tractor manufacturer, pharmaceutical
company (veterinary medecines)
 Horticulture Related- landscape or nurcery business, seed company,
mower manufacturer.

MANUFACTURING
 Is the production of merchandise for use or sale using labour and
machines, tools, chemical and biological, processing, or formulation. The
term may refer to a range of human activity, from handicraft to hightech,
but is most commonly applied to industrial design, in which raw materials
are transformed into finished goods on a large scale.
 Such finished goods may be sold to other manufacturers for the
production of other, more complex, products, such as aircraft, household
appliences, furniture, sports equipment, automobiles, or sold to
wholesalers, who in turnsell them to retailers, who then sell them to end
users and consumers.
The four main types of manufacturing are casting and
molding, machining, joining, and shearing and forming.
