OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subjad Ceiling for reimbursement of special Nursing and Ayah/Attendant charges to the
employees covered under CS(MA) Rules,1944.

The undarslgned is directed to invite reference to this Ministry's OM No .. S .1402Sn 4/86~

M$ dated 30 10' 991, whoreln an arrangement for reimbursement for spacial nursing has been
made which stlpl.llates that the amount of such reimbursement is limited to the amount which is
in excess of 2,5% of the pay of the Government servant Keeping in view the increase in pay and
allowances and wages of nurses and ayah/attendants and In order to simplll'y the eXIsting
procedure, It has been decided to fix ceiling rates of speclal nurse and ayah/sHandant for
reimbursement to CS(MA} beneficiaries

2. The Ceiling rates for such retmbursemsnt to CS(MA) beneficiart would be as follows,
Special Nurse ~ 150/· per shift of 12 hours.
Ayah/Attendant ~ 75/· per shin of 12 hOUfS

3 The reimbursement of speCIal charges for nurse and ayah/attendant at above rates IS
SUbject to the condition that for such purpose a certificate from the medicsl officer in-Charge of
the case in the hospital and countersigned by the medlt:·al superintendent of the hospital should : ,,' .
