Climate Change Essay

In this Essay about Climate Change, I am going to talk about factories, transportation, and food.

To get those information I used some of my notes and I also used the sources ¨How can factories

affect the environment¨, ¨Transportation and Climate: the perfect storm¨ and “Center of

Biological Diversity”.

Factories:​ Industrial factories has been a big problem in today´s day and has been

the biggest pollution causer. It causes toxic gases that factories release to the air, that can cause

diseases, for example, chronic respiratory, lung cancer, heart diseases, and many others. It also

has an effect on our wildlife and could lead to species of plants and animals.

It also affects the water, actually the major contributor to water pollution. The illegal

dumping of contaminated water, gases, chemicals, and other materials into the waterways cause

damage to marine life and everything at all.

 Transportation:​ In the past, environmental concerns related to transportation

revolved around such things. These issues did not disappear: metropolitan areas still try to reduce

high-zone days in the summer by reducing road traffic.

Transportation is the single largest contributor to the nation´s carbon footprint

causing more damage than industry.

Food: ​ Food that is wasted, and that we throw away because we do not want

it anymore. It makes a big part of the emissions of the Greenhouses Gases. “​30 percent of food is

wasted globally across the supply chain, contributing 8 percent of total global greenhouse gas

emissions.” This shows that wasting food that we do not eat and do not want it anymore make

the planet warmer because the Co2 that go3es to the atmosphere, they are breaking it.

We can stop it, or at least make it less harmful for our planet by using Bicycles because

they do not use any Co2 from them. And we can use public transportation so that there are not so

many cars in the streets emitations so many bad gases. And the issue with the food one thing that

we can do to help it stop is to just hand out food, just that the food when you finish and you do

not want it anymore. Give it to another person, or even a homeless person that has been for days
without eating, and we can solve two problems at once. It is important that we study in our

schools about climate change because we get more information about what is happening to our

planet, and we know the bad and the good things that are happening around us.
