Oversees all marketing and communications


aspects of the university web site, with a direct
responsibility for the content of the top-level
areas (About VSU, Admissions, Academics and
Campus Life). Oversees all communications for
university social media accounts, with a direct
responsibility for the content of the top-level
social media accounts representing the 10 % Consultation and Training
university as a whole.

Responsible for working conjointly with various


University constituencies in creating, developing
and executing the marketing strategies and
activities of VSU which focus on enhancing
student recruitment.

Under the direction of the Vice President,


identify overarching marketing goals and then
design and implement a comprehensive plan to
strengthen VSU's image with prospective and
current students and parents; faculty and staff;
alumni and friends of the University. The plan
will contain the necessary strategies, action
steps, and metrics required to effectively meet
those goals.

Responsible for designing and executing a


dynamic and imaginative branding and
marketing plan, including working with vendors
and suppliers to develop and place advertising in
strategically appropriate markets.
Including supervision of producing, concept
development, writing, directing, recording,
editing and distribution of content. Work with
unit administration to manage visual identity
through web content, publications, and
promotional materials, including radio and
television promotional programming.
Trains and coordinates departmental content
managers for university internal and external
web sites and social media.

Supervises Digital Media employees and team of


student assistants. Supervises video services for
the University including single and multiple
camera recordings, studio and field production,
video editing, webcasting, and distribution.

Recruits, supervises, and trains staff. Administers


scheduling and budgets.

Duties commensurate with the level of


responsibility and tasks outlined in your position

order to meet the needs of the unit. This may
