Écris un CV (format français) comme si tu vas poser ta candidature pour l’emploie de rêve. Imaginez
que tu as déjà fait ta formation.

Décris ce que tu imagine que ta vie sera dans 10 ans (ou quand tu as commencé ton carrière). Ecris au
moins 10 phrases et donne-moi des détails spécifiques :
Exemple: Dans 10 ans je serai professeur et je travaillerai à RayPec. J’habiterai à Kansas City avec mon mari
et nos trois chiens. En tant que professeur j’enseignerai des courses de français. Je gagnerai $40.000 par ans,

This will be your summative assessment for this unit, so put in maximum effort and
research. Take this seriously. All of your writing on this document needs to be IN
FRENCH!

Read through all of the instructions below before beginning. We will be working
through the parts together in class, but you will also need to do work at home.

Première Partie (p. 1-2) :

 1. You are going to meteojob.com and finding 3 job postings for your desired dream job. Fill
out all the information in the first part of the Google Doc for ALL THREE and include the
screenshot of the poste or the specific link to the posting.

2. You are going to write the benefits of doing this line of work, and how in demand this career
is. 1 means there are not many jobs open in this career field, 5 means there are many
opportunities for employment.

3. Write at least 5 tasks that you do for this job (included in job postings)

4. Under Bibliographie you need to put the links to every single source you used to find the
information above. You need at least 5 sources ALL IN FRENCH!

Deuxième Partie (p. 3-4) :

1. You are going to write an action plan for obtaining your dream job (in French). Starting with
what you can do today (1), then next month (1), then next year (3), then after high school
(3), then during college or other training (3), finally after completing your studies (3).

2. At each level your goals must be specific and significant/measurable. For example, not
"I will join a club," but "I will join the Robotics team to get experience." Not "I apply to
college", but "I will apply to SLU, Wash U, and MU in August 2019." Not "I will apply for a
job," but "I will apply to Cerner, Sprint, and Garmin for a data analyst position in May 2023."

3. After writing your goals, you need to prepare for an interview with one of the companies
from the job postings from part one. (You can choose which company/job posting.)

4. Spend some time thinking of how you would respond to each of those seven questions
listed, then write out your answers to them. These answers need to be (as Yve says),
specific and detailed, just like your SMART goals. Your response to each part needs to be
at least 4 sentences long.

5. Make a résumé based on the French model given below and what we talked about in class.
This résumé needs to be specific and use "wow" verbs that companies are looking for
(these are given on the last page of the example CV's). When writing your résumé you may
either write it using what you have currently so far in life (real), or you can write one
imagining what you would have done by the time you are applying for the job (after your
schooling and a little more work experience). Either one is fine.

Troisième Partie (p. 5) :

1. After completing the interview questions and CV, you are going to write where you will be in
10 years (assuming that you got your dream job and everything went well). You need to
write at least 10 sentences in the future tense. Be specific.
