THE ROBBERY, RAPE, MUTILATION, AND KILLING OF

MA THIDA HTWAY in 2012,

AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO RE-VISIT THIS CASE
by Rick Heizman, April 11, 2019

This rape and murder case was one of the sparks of the violence that
erupted in June of 2012 in Rakhine State, Myanmar - but it was not the
root cause. Indeed, the Bengali Muslims had been planning another
attempt to wage a genocidal jihad against the non-Muslim indigenous
people of Arakan (historical name). On June 8, 2012, and the following
days, they launched surprise attacks in Maungdaw, Sittwe, and other
towns and villages throughout Rakhine State. Most people, particularly
in the international community, think that the large-scale violence that
happened in Arakan starting June 8, 2012 was due to the rape and
murder of Thida Htway, by 3 Bengali youths, May 28, 2012 - and the
subsequent retaliatory murder case in Taung Goke where 10 Bengali
Muslims were killed by a group of people on June 3, 2012. The rape
and murder of Thida Htway sparked the cycle of violence that subsequentially spiraled out of
control, but, it was not the root cause. It was one of many sparks. There are many rapes of
Buddhist women and girls throughout the country, and overwhelmingly the perpetrators are
Bengali Muslims.

Nowadays the false news spewed out by the ‘Rohingya’ activists is becoming an avalanche
of fakery. The Bengali Muslim rewriting of history is ridiculous - the rewriting of 1942 events,
the tragedy of Alay Than Kyaw, the fake history of a fake identity, the fake allegations of
genocide, and the rape and murder of Ma Thida Htway. (the reader may not even be aware
of these events, but stay tuned)

Recently, ARSA (Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army) released its manifesto, which is a primary
example of hubris, gall, and deception. It address this rape and murder case with quotes
from discredited and exposed fake news specialist Maung Zarni (with a certifiably fake PhD)
who claims the rape narrative of Ma Thida Htway by Bengali men was “patently false” and
“was used as a launching pad to start waves of mass killings against the Rohingya” - when
to the contrary, it was the ‘Rohingya’ Bengali Muslims that launched the nearly countless
attacks against the Buddhists, with systematic planning and coordination, with the goal of
seizing the land and declaring it an autonomous Islam State for Muslims only.

So, in March, 2019, I was in Kyaukpyu, in southern Rakhine State. I wanted to go to visit Ma
Thida Htway’s family and village, and walk the path that she walked and see and notice the
significant places. However, the Kyaukpyu authorities strongly suggested that I not go there
because the Bengali Muslims were very agitated at that time because of their attempts to
falsify their identity (pretending to be Kaman Muslims), and the fact that they outnumber the
Buddhists 35 to 1 in that area, making my safety a concern, as I would be probing around
the area. So, I arranged for the family members to come to Kyaukpyu, and they did, and I
learned much more about the case.
1
MA THIDA HTWAY'S UNCLE SPEAKS

My name is U Hla Tin, from Kyauk Ni Maw

Village, in Rambree Township, Rakhine State.
Now I will tell you the true story of Ma Thida
Htway, who was raped and killed so cruelly by
the Bengali Muslims. I speak to the world
about this tragic event. Ma Thida Htway is
from Tha Bye Chaung Village, Chaung Wa
Village tract. She was 28 years old. She
worked as a tailor. She goes to Kyauk Ni Maw
Village to do her tailoring job. One day, when
walking home, she was abducted, robbed, raped, and killed. I was one of the people that
found her body, and I then investigated this case from all sides, and very thoroughly. I tried to
bring up the truth about this crime with law enforcement -again and again - but authorities
were paid off by Bengali interests, and I wound up being imprisoned for one year for
speaking out against this terrible crime. I will still tell the true story of this tragedy - we do not
want this kind of crime to occur again in the future. This crime was a huge crime, and it is
necessary to put out the details about it, and to point out the truth of who did it and what
makes them think that they can do this terrible act.

I want to say to people all over the world, if this kind of crime happens anywhere, don't let
bribery stifle the investigation, and do not let this kind of crime be encouraged by an
ideology or religion [Islam]. If you are parents, imagine what you would feel if this happened
to your daughter. All over the world, wherever there are Bengali Muslim people, they are lying
and lying. And, here in Rakhine State, they lie, and lie, and lie. I would like to say to our
Burmese Government departments, please, when crimes like this occur, all departments
must pursue the truth, and don't cover it up.

The Bengali Muslims are always lying that they are Myanmar nationality and Myanmar
citizens. The worst place is Kyauk Ni Maw Village Tract, where the Bengalis are always lying
and lying. Now they are claiming to be Kaman Muslims [a recognized Muslim minority in
Myanmar with full nationality and citizenship rights - Kaman have never rebelled against the
country, and are trusted and respectable.] The
lying of the Bengali Muslims is getting worse
and worse as they wish to destroy the Buddhist
culture. Before the crimes against Ma Thida
Htway, there were similar crimes against other
Buddhist girls - Khin Mi Mi Kyaw, and Daw Ma
Ye Bu, but those crimes also were hidden with
bribe money, and the perpetrators were not
punished. I would like to request that the
people of the world understand that the Bengali
Muslims are lying about everything, and please
listen to us who are suffering. Please help us to
make Myanmar a peaceful land.

2
MA THIDA HTWAY IS MISSING, CONCERN IS RAISED

When I got the information that Ma Thida Htway did not

show up at home after working her tailoring job, I
became concerned. First, I asked around, but nobody
knew anything and nobody saw her walking home. I
asked if she had a boyfriend, in case that was the
reason. But, nobody knew of a boyfriend. Then, a
Buddhist man, U Ba Win, told me that he saw Ma Thida
Htway talking with the leader of the Muslim village that
she must walk by. The leader is, Mawlawi (Imam) Zaw
Min, and U Ba Win observed that they were talking inside
his house. Mawlawi Zaw Min was known to be a bad man, and an instigator of trouble.

When I learned that info, I felt dreadful, and I knew the situation was possibly deadly. There
had been a number of previous rapes and murders of Buddhist girls, and the Muslims were
strongly suspected, and often arrested, but then, upon bribe money passed under the table,
charges would be dropped, and people would be ordered to not take further action. And,
Mawlawi Zaw Min was suspected of masterminding the paying of bribes and the
suppression of the cases.

I immediately went to the Bengali village, and to the house of Mawlawi [Imam] Zaw Min. I
called his name, but no one was there. I went to other houses but nobody was there as well.
Everyone was hiding, all the Muslims were hiding. It was very very strange and unusual. The
whole village seemed to be hiding, and afraid to talk to anyone from the Buddhist village.
Then, I tried to look around in the darkness, to see if I could find any clues, and I met an old
Bengali man. His name is Maung Thein Aye. I asked him to help find a young lady from our
Rakhine village. She was lost, and we had to find her. He led us around and then led us to
the dead body of Ma Thida Htway. Her lifeless and severely mutilated body was found in the
mangrove forest near a rain tree beside the embankment road leading to Kyauk Hta Yan
Ward of Kyauk Ni Maw Village and Chaung Wa Village. There were horrific knife wounds on
her body; her neck was cut nearly from ear to ear, she was stabbed in the chest, and
numerous times in her groin, and even her earlobes were severed to make it easier to get her
gold earrings off. Her undergarments were tossed nearby. As anyone could see she was
raped, severely mutilated and killed.

Then we knew that somebody from the Muslim village killed her. We called the police to
come. The next morning, 2 Bengali young men (Rawfi, son of Swe Yuk
Ta Mauk, and Khochi, son of Akwe Chay) tried to sell Ma Thida Htway's
gold earrings, ring and necklace in the village market jewelry shop - this
info was gathered in the investigation after her body was discovered.

At the request of her brother, U Win Maung, the Kyauk Ni Maw police
station opened the case under Section 302/382 (murder/robbery) of the Criminal Procedure
Law. The head of Kyaukpyu District Myanmar Police Force and other officers came to Kyauk
Ni Maw Village and reconstructed the related clues.

3
SCENARIO OF WHAT HAPPENED ON THE EVENING OF MAY 28, 2012:

On the way home, Ma Thida Htway walks a path that

passes alongside the Muslim village, and the Mawlawi's
house is right on the path. He is usually sitting right
there, alongside the path, and notices everyone -
Muslim or Buddhist - who walks by. He was well
acquainted with Ma Thida Htway - seeing her nearly
everyday going to and from her workplace. On that day
she was going to meet her friend, U San Shwe Aung, at
some point along the route, and if they found each
other they would continue the walk home together. As
she started to walk back home, from her workplace,
she wasn't sure whether he was already in front of her, and she would catch up with him, or
whether he was behind her, and she would wait for him to catch up with her. She stopped
when she saw the Mawlawi sitting in front of his house, and asked him, "Did my friend, U
San Shwe Aung pass here already this evening or not?" The Mawlawi responded, "No, he
didn't pass yet, you can wait here." However, that was a lie, U San Shwe Aung had passed
that point already, and now the Mawlawi had the girl waiting there alone.

The investigation revealed that a young Bengali Muslim man named Htet Htet (aka Rawshi)
son of U Kyaw Thaung, knew the daily routine of Ma Thida Htway, who commuted between
Tha Bye Chaung Village and Kyauk Ni Maw Village to do her tailoring job. He, in bad need of
money, plotted to rob her of her gold jewelry that she wears. It is believed that Mawlawi Zaw
Min was part of the plot, and lied to her about her friend, and then under some kind of
pretense persuaded her to enter his house where Rawfi and Khochi were hiding, and they
apprehended her and took her over to Rawshi, who was waiting at the rain tree near the
mangrove forest. That is where they raped, mutilated and stabbed her to death, and robbed
her dead body of five pieces of gold jewelry.

The next day, as suspicion was raised concerning Htet Htet, authorities tried to arrest him,
but he was not found. The local police phoned the police headquarters in Rambree town,
and they found and arrested Htet Htet, as he was trying to escape
to the large town of Thandwe.

After arresting Htet Htet suspicion was raised against two other
young Muslim men associated with Htet Htet. They were from
Kyauk Ni Maw Village and we went there to talk to the Muslim
people of the village. We - Rakhine people and police - asked
them to please give those two young men to the authorities. The
Muslim leaders said, "Okay, we don't know where they are, but we
will find them and give them to you at 8:30 pm." We all waited until
8:30 but the Muslims did not bring the young men to us. Then the
Muslim leaders said, "Okay, 10:30 pm." At 10:30 according to their
agreement they handed the two young men to us, and the police
arrested them, in accordance with Myanmar law.

4
The head of Kyaukpyu District Myanmar Police Force and other officers interrogated those
three Bengali Muslim suspects, namely, Htet Htet, aka Rawshi, son of U Kyaw Thaung,
Rawfi, son of Swe Yuk Ta Mauk, and Khochi, son of Akwe Chay, and charged them with rape
and murder.

On May 31st, government officials arrived in Kyauk Ni Maw Village. The village leadership
accepted 1 million kyat [$667 US] donated for the village and 600,000 [$400 US] for the
victim’s funeral by the State Transportation Minister U Kyaw Khin, and five sets of monks
robes and 100,000 kyat [$67 US] by the State Hluttaw representative U Than Naing for the
victim’s funeral.

Later that day, the State Security and Border Affairs Minister, the deputy head of the State
Police Station, the Kyaukpyu District Deputy Commissioner and the head of the District
Police Station participated in the victim’s funeral and held discussions with the villagers. On
June 1st, the State Chief Minister and party left for Kyaukpyu and held discussions with the
Kyaukpyu Township youth organization over the murder case. The discussions mainly
touched upon handing down deterrent punishment on the murderers as soon as possible
and helping prevent riots when they are being brought to trial.

The news release of the case was clearly sanitized as the horrific details of the crime
committed were not included. According to the police forensic evidence and also
eyewitnesses to the discovery of her body, Ma Thida Htway was raped multiple times by
three Bengali men, her throat slashed from ear to ear, her chest stabbed multiple times, and
her groin was stabbed and mutilated with knives.

The 3 suspects were found guilty and sentenced to death. One of them committed suicide in
jail.

ABOUT THE KAMAN MUSLIMS AND THE BENGALI MUSLIMS

The uncle continues: I would like to say something about the Kaman Muslims and the
Bengali Muslims. There is a big problem between the Kaman and the Bengali. Historically,
the Kaman Muslims are a recognized ethnic group of Myanmar. Kaman people are citizens of
the nation. They have a history that goes back many centuries when they were people of
Persian origin who were skilled archers. They have never rebelled against the government,
and they get along with others fine, and they have no problem living peacefully with others.

The Bengali Muslim population overwhelms both the Kaman Muslim and the Buddhist
population in that area where the several villages that make up the Chaung Wa Village tract
and the Kyauk Ni Maw Village tracts are. There are over 7000 Bengali Muslims verses 200
Kaman Muslims versus around 200 Buddhists. The Muslim population had been swelling at
an enormous rate due to illegal immigration fueled by massive amounts of bribery and fake
identification.

Nowadays, the Bengalis are trying to pretend that they are Kaman to get the National
Registration Cards (NRC). Once again, the Bengalis lie, lie and lie. And, the Bengalis want to
destroy the Buddhists culture, and every statue and monument of Buddhism. The Kaman
Muslims really dislike the Bengalis and don't endorse the violent, intolerant, and supremacist
characteristics of the Bengali Muslims.
