Resumen
Abstract
The aim of this article is to analyze the situation of immigrant students in the
Spanish Educational System, with emphasis on the Physical Education subject. The
purpose of this study, which has been carried out to a group of Physical Education
teachers in the Madrid community, is to know their conception they have of cultural
diversity in their classes and analyze if they are really using contents, resources and
methodological techniques to get an appropriate intercultural education.
The results inform us that in most of cases, P.E teachers do not obtain an
intercultural education in their classes due to the fact that they do not usually work
contents or intercultural methodological resources in their daily programs. Many of
these problems come from the lack of teacher training in terms of cultural diversity.
