We already know that Trump has been secretly pushing to restart his despicable
family separation policy at our border -- which ripped away countless children
from their parents since he took office.

We already know that this administration is treating an upsurge in people seeking

asylum as if it were a “disaster” -- while deliberately keeping asylum seekers out.

And we already know that’s the reason Kirstjen Nielsen resigned -- but only after
she directed children be pulled from the arms of their parents, put families in
cages, and treated immigrants seeking refuge as if they were less than human.

The next person Trump nominates will undoubtedly carry out his orders to
continue ripping families apart, threatening the lives of children, and defining our
 country with hate rather than the hope and inspiration that led these families,
these PEOPLE, to risk their lives to come here for a chance at a better life.
