If everyone learns differently,
whether that be through practice,
surprise, or from those around
them then how can we possibly
define learning in one way. To
enable effective learning, this is the
key thought: being able to adapt to
everyone in the classrooms own
learning style to help them
personally. This is a challenge, but
not necessarily a problem - each
student will have their own
strengths and weaknesses, and it
is our job to find them and use
them in order to teach.

Learning is essential to an
individual’s growth- whether this be
in an academic or moral form.
Through learning, students can
acquire new knowledge, which is
important but what is crucial are
the concepts and skills they are
taught and which they develop over
time through their own
experiences. These enable
individuals to best interpret or
utilise all sorts of knowledge and to
then habitually employ such
concepts and skills in their own
independent studies. More
significantly, learning can be
defined as making mistakes.
Through mistakes one can learn
from their experience and
strengthen the areas in which they
are weakest in.
Learning involves far more than
thinking: it involves the whole
personality - senses, feelings,
intuition, beliefs, values and will. If
we do not have the will to learn, we will
not learn and if we have learned, we are
actually changed in some way. If the
learning makes no difference it can have
very little significance beyond being
random ideas that float through our
consciousness.

Learning needs to meet some personal

such needs enables us to evaluate
whether the learning has been
worthwhile and successful.
