Budget Assignment Statement

We were asked to find the budget amounts associated with advertising and monthly
salaries for two office administrators. For advertising, I decided to go with a website
along with creating business cards and online advertising. Television advertising is very
costly and I think creating advertising through multiple platforms is the best way to make
the public aware of your presents. The website platform Wix.com offers free website
building services, however in order to have a website accessible to the public you must
purchase a domain. I went onto Godaddy.com and found the cheapest domain is
$24.99 a year. Lastly, I chose to go with online advertising as social media is a major
part of this generation. Through the website Webfx.com it allows you to pay a fixed
amount that includes advertising through social media sites. The social media sites that
I chose to advertise through were Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

For the salaries I went onto payscale.com and researched what the average salary for
an Office Administration worker is. It said about $17.72 per hour, and I estimated the
workers put in about 8 hours of work per day. Then I estimated about 30 days in a
month to find the monthly salary of the workers.
