The Call of the True Devotee of Magic

For those who will pursue magic for all their days, in order to rectify the outer-world with the
inner-world so that their pursuit may be supported by good health, wealth, and fortune.

Wash in a magical bath of 7 Limes, Fresh Basil on the stalk, 3 small handfuls of Sea Salt, and a
splash of Florida Water or other magically-oriented cologne or oil. Squeeze the limes into a
basin or bucket and add the salt and florida water, tear the basil leaves and add them, too. Take
a cotton cloth or similar and wash from the head-down, reciting any hymn or incantation of
cleansing. After scrubbing head-to-toe, take 3 cups of the liquid and pour it over your head.
Discard the liquid and its contents afterwards. This bath will clear away unwanted energies and
bring in luck and power.

Create Sacred Space by cleansing, banishing, and honoring the 7 directions as you normally do
in your practice. Assemble an altar of the most prized tools of your Art. Have a cup filled with
pure water. Have burning any lamps or candles that you wish, and fumigate with any smokes
and perfumes that are most pleasing to you. The circle should be set in such a way that reflects
who you are as a magician. When you are in the proper state of consciousness, face the East
and recite the following:

“I, N.N., whose mother is N.N and whose father is N.N., I who am a child of Earth and Starry
Heaven, with Faith, Conviction, and Desire, offer up this prayer and cast this spell with
intentions of the highest good and greatest benefit:

I possess the correct vision, focus, and discipline to carry out my work.
I possess sufficient space and abundant resources to carry out my work.
My work is artful, skillful, and precise.
My work attracts the correct partnerships, clients, and customers.
My work is appreciated and utilized correctly, shielded from the profane.
My days are fully supported by my work.
My work is fully supported by my days.
All my days are devoted to the Work of Magic.

My Desire is heard and answered!

From the Depths of the Abyss unto the Heights of the Firmament to be manifest upon Earth:
Every Ancestor hears and attends,
Every Familiar hears and attends,
Every Daemon hears and attends,
Every Angel hears and attends,
Every Saint hears and attend,
Every God hears and attends,
The Creator hears and attends,
Thus, my Desire is the Desire of the One!

Breathe upon the surface of the pure water in the cup on your altar, inspiriting it with your
intention and Will. Hold the cup aloft to the 7 directions. Drink deeply of your own power. Give
thanks and close the circle with your usual techniques.
