Dry Manure Calibration Field Day

A dry manure calibration field day will be held at the Vidalia 
Onion and Vegetable Research Center on May 20 from 
9-11:30 am. This will be a great educational program for 
anyone who utilizes poultry litter or other dry fertilizer 
products on pastures, hayfields, or row crops. We will be 
demonstrating how to calibrate a dry manure spreader using 
the 7 tarp method, and how to use the simple software 
program that goes along with the outdoor calibration. There 
will also be a discussion on farm biosecurity.
