The purpose of this project is to identify and classify the reliability of informational sites.
Consultants will work 4 hours a day, 5 days a week (Monday-Friday). The daily task of the consultant consists of labeling posts in accordance with the project guidelines.
Before a project assignment, consultants complete a qualification process of approximately 2
hours consisting of a Guideline review and a short quiz. Once accepted on a project, consultants must consistently meet service levels that measure the accuracy of their work.
Tools needed
• Microsoft Windows (Windows 7 or above) or MAC operating system (not a tablet)
• A minimum screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels • Working sound card and speakers • Broadband internet connection • Headset with microphone (optional) • Commercial antivirus software (optional)
Qualification Details
• Qualification will require a commitment of approximately 2 hours.
• Must thoroughly read and understand task guidelines, complete online self-study modules, and complete practice and qualification tests in order to work on the project.
• There is no compensation for participation in the qualification cycle.
Required skills – project specific
• A personal Facebook account with 200+ friends
• Detail oriented and able to switch between subjective and literal tasks • Flexibility, willingness to learn, and good communication skills • Strong written and spoken English language skills • Extensive experience using the internet • Familiarity and interest with social media, current events, entertainment, science, and/or technology in the local market
Special Requirements (core hours, unique skills, technical/equipment requirements)
• Consultants must provide their specific Facebook ID
• Once qualified for production, consultants must be willing to respond to a demographic question on ethnicity. This is used solely for reporting purposes and it is not used to determine eligibility for the project.
