今までの 世界記録は ２時間２分５７秒でした。

昔、マラソンは「持久力を 競う 競技」と 言われて いました。

でも、今の マラソンは「スピードを 競う 競技」だ そうです。

トップクラスの 選手は １００メートル１８秒ぐらいで ４２キ

ロを 走る そうです。
